Are these games any good? I've never heard anyone talk about them even once.

Most fans don't talk about it because they get filtered when they see cards, like someone threw acid(heh) in their face. 2nd game had a lot of improvements and is better gameplay wise. The 1st game had a more serious down to earth story and atmosphere compared to the 2nd. Both games gave us the best waifus from the MGS series. You also get to play as them in Portable Ops

>>742294949I'd suggest starting with 2 if you don't want to get put off from the gameplay, it's done better there, don't worry about spoilers little of 1 is brought up except for one thing which is less a spoiler for the first game and more a twist that doesn't really require you to have played the first since it doesn't make sense even with context, so don't worry about it.
