Give it to me straight /v/, what are the chances this ever gets a port?
NeverIt would've already happened once the 1st game was slapped onto N64 Switch online
why are you waiting for a port when you can emulate it
>>742295906there's not any wii virtual console on shitch or shitch 2 is there?
>>742295462I'd rather have a third game.I was known as... Achi. You can't just leave it like that.
Wouldn't a port feel worse since you constantly need to account for the gyro calibration instead of just aiming like on the Wii? A Star Fox game or Kid Icarus: Uprising would have been perfect fits for the Wii.
>>742298076No, sir. I think the only Wii games on Switch are Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.
>>742299972It would probably use mouse aiming.
>>742300645Hmm, that's actually a pretty good alternative. I was only thinking of the base Switch. Did the N64 game support the N64 mouse?
>>742299779>We never found out what Saki and Airan's fates were after Saki lost it>And the mega cliffhanger ending the game has
>>742301415we would if they bothered to make a third game
>>742295462Just play it, retardWiis are dirt cheap
>>742295462hopefully 0%
>>742295462Is it that good?
>>742304913Fuck yes. My favorite Wii game, at least. It's everything a Wii shooter should be: No waggle gimmicks, just point and shoot. The main gimmick is that you can deflect enemy projectiles and return to sender. There's A LOT of variety to the game, from set-piece battles to perspective changes a la NieR. Treasure came up with a new idea every few minutes; no segment overstays its welcome. It's like $40-50 now, fairly cheap for a classic Treasure game. But pirate it if you have to, you just need to experience it, legally or not.
Is the gyro in the joycons as good as the wii pointer? Haven't played anything that mandated it.
>>742305715>projectile deflectionkino in shmups so it must be kino here, I gotta try this outI remember I was gonna buy it as a kid one time but I bought mh3 instead
>>742305715thanks ill try it
>>742306042>>742307250Sick. I hope you guys enjoy it.Also, here, have best yandere.
>>742307340Got any other Wii reccs, good lad?
>>742305715>a la NieRYou mean a la Sin & Punishment, weeb.
>>742305884Its good but no it's not as accurate as the pointer because it is two different technologies.
>>742307770My bro, I played S&P back in the mid-2000's. I'm just comparing it to something more people here have probably played.>>742307614I'd suggest Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, Lost in Shadow, Blast Works: Build Trade Destroy, Castle of Shikigami 3, and it's still the best way to experience No More Heroes.
>>742308078>I'd suggest Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, Lost in Shadow, Blast Works: Build Trade Destroy, Castle of Shikigami 3, and it's still the best way to experience No More Heroes. Thanks! I never heard about any of them except for NMH. Will try them all and think of you, mate.
can't they just get this on the switch 2 and take advantage of having 2 sticks instead of just one this is one of the main things I hear about that hasn't made it off the Wii and while they'll acknowledge the original they just don't want to do anything with this for some reason
>>742308210I hope at least some of them click with you. Tip for Fragile Dreams: You don't always need to be aiming the wiimote. You can move it away and have more control over your character.
>>742295462Is it a good book adaptation thou?
>>742308507Kappa.png
Is treasure even still alive? It’s been like 15 years since s&p2
>>742307340She cute
>>742295462kino
>>742311223Barely. It's basically just Maegawa collecting his royalty checks for the few IPs they still own (your infinite Ikaruga ports, madamsir).
>>742295462Never. Treasure is kill and nintendo doesn’t think the S&P games are popular enough I guessIt’s tragic
You're better off hoping for a PC recomp of any retro game you would want a remake of. Companies can't be trusted to remake their games.
>>742313923At least they went out on a high note
>>742295462it runs so perfectly on Dolphin and you can play it with your joycon gyro
>>742315120S&P2 really was their magnum opus.
>>742295462Pointer controls did not deserve to die with the Wii U.
Atlus doesn't even exist as a gaming company anymore :C
