Sekiro leaves a ton of things unanswered. We know Tomoe who was a member of the warrior women clan was bound to Takeru, the divine heir just like Wolf is to Kuro. We know that they both descended into Ashina from the divine realm. So Takeru was probably the everlasting dragon's offspring or he was manifested by it somehow.
But all we know about Kuro is that he was raised in the Hirata estate. Was he born there? Can a random human become heir of the dragon heritage? That doesn't seem likely.
So the natural conclusion is that he was sired by Takeru. But we know that Takeru died from dragonrot while he was still young (Tomoe describes him similarly to how Kuro looks in her letters) so that isn't possible. So where the hell did Kuro appear from?
Unless Tomoe was secretly into shotas this doesn't make much sense.

Sekiro was a Miyazaki project, and he doesn't like sequels, so it doesn't matter. There won't be a sequel.
