How come this thing lasts like a week while PS5 controller lasts a few hours?
>>
Not wasting energy on a stupid glowy light for one.
>>
i'm afraid you are caught in a time distortion.
>>
The touchpad kills the battery
>>
>jeets lying about their Nintendo baby toy cult
You fool none of us Rajneesh
>>
>>742433141
The last Dualsense revision removes one of the microphones and more components inside to save costs and the battery can last like up to 12 hours with the correct settings. But yeah The Pro controller can last for fucking ever, it's quite nice.
>>
>>742433141
It’s because of Eric
His energy requirements have skyrocketed in the last five years due to general brand failure (I’d call it working overtime, but he represents his gods for free)
>>
>>742433507
I've years old dualsense and pretty sure it's like 10-15 hours. Oh well I never really play more than 2 hour marathons so it's all the same to me. I don't know what kind of madmen play over 10 hour marathons. In my day only ones were wow players who were considered crazy and game addicts by most people. But maybe it's normal these days I don't know.

you are like little baby.
>>
>>742433141
Kek it's funny, my Switch 2 would be needing like 10 charges while the controller is still at 50% charge, quite nice indeed.
>>
>>742433141
The R1 button on mine shit itself in like a year, tops -- which was disastrous, because the entire reason I bought it was to play MHGU and R is kind of important there. It's a bummer, because it feels good to hold and yeah, the battery life was great.
>>
>>742433141
You are not wrong. I play an input heavy games on switch and it still last twice as long as me playing a JRPG on PS5.
>>
>>742433141
it also takes a whole week to charge to full, meanwhile dualsense is done in an hour or two tops
>>
>>742436449
Your battery must be full of the ejaculate, it should not take more than 6 hours max for max charge.
>>
>>742433141
>haptic feedback
>resistive triggers
>always on LED
>microphone
>speaker
>touchpad
all this useless shit wastes energy
>>
>>742433425
It lasts like three weeks for me, yeah.
>>
>>742433141
I'm tempted to buy the Switch 2's pro controller, how does it compare to the Switch's pro controller?
>>
>>742437045
I have no idea, I'm still using my Switch 1 pro controller and it's working 10/10, I guess buy the Switch 2 if you don't have anything else.

anon, the Switch isn't even sold in India.
>>
>>742434205
would be one of the best controllers ever made if not for the plastic material they used
form factor, symmetrical sticks, and immortal battery life were all great
>>
>>742438515
what’s the best out there now? gamesaar?
>>
>>742437045
I like it more. It feels better in your hand because of the materials they use. It’s great.
>>
>>742433141
larger battery
no meme light
"""only""" runs at 250hz instead of 800-1000hz
>>
>>742433425
Why is 4chan like this?
>>
>>742439079
Any third party is automatically better for having hall effect/tmr, but to answer your question more directly:
Scuf Valor Pro is really good for precision gameplay (shooters mainly)
Razer has pretty decent options
gamesaar is aight but vastly overshilled
8bitdo hands down best value controllers on the market currently (picrel is equivalent in feel and build quality to a switch 2 pro controller while costing a fraction less)
>>
>>742440031
>muh TMR
but all thirdparty controllers have dogshit rumble and worse gyro
>>
>>742440525
>muh TMR
Enjoy your stick drift, bro
>dogshit rumble and worse gyro
Works on my machine
>>
>>742440683
>Enjoy your stick drift, bro
it took like 8 years for my pro controller 1 to get drift and they had much better precision than TMR sticks in the meantime
>Works on my machine
because you have no taste
>>
>>742433141
The switch pro controller uses the same batteries as the ones in the 3DS console
>>
>>742433141
its powered by mites
>>
>>742440807
>it took like 8 years for my pro controller 1
Damn, sorry for your loss. Could've saved money getting a better controller that lasted longer
>because you have no taste
Literally just seething, lmao
>>
>>742440990
How much you get paid to shill eightendo? In every controller thread you are there.
>>
>>742433141
Because you're actually playing a game with the switch controller

Switch and PC CHADS.
How do you deal with playing both Nintendo and Xbox ABXY layout?
I'm constantly hopping between games
>>
>>742433141
Have any games made use of the extra buttons on the handles of the S2 pro controller?
I'm still wondering what their purpose is
>>
>>742441572
Starfox for me.
Breaking with Left pad is easier than using B.

how? steam controller does it just fine

>>742441082
steam controller threatening to massively undercut the high-end market and overtake the mid-end market made 8bit see their chance to go for the low end market.
>>
>>742439426
calling people brown is fun and mass contact with Pajeets through the internet has made everyone hate jeets(as they should). Everyone automatically being called a street shitter is a bit excessive at times albeit.
>>
>>742441771
>steam controller threatening to massively undercut the high-end market and overtake the mid-end market made 8bit see their chance to go for the low end market.
are they so money deprived that they have to come into every controller thread and declare that "it's so so so much better", while their reviews tell another story? just look at what that retard is posting now

>>
>>742433141
I own neither but it sounds to me like you play very little nintendo compared to playstation
>>
>>742438515
only applies to pis5 controllers and xboner ones
and even then xboner ones are passable, but the dualsense is just straight dogshit
>>
>>742434205
I still use this as my main PC controller. I genuinely charge it like, once every other week if anything. this thing legit outlasts everything. if only the plastic wasn't so cheap and the triggers felt a bit better.
>>
>>742433141
Weak rumble
>>
>>742442239
>xboner ones are passable
Not when they develop stick drift within the first year
>>
A real reason to upgrade to this If i already got a switch 1 pro? Seems like the dpad is still fucked anyways
>>
>>742441976
Yes.
They were even more desperate back when all the pajeets and snoys were desperate to try and poison the wildly successful launch of the steam controller.
>>
>>742442850
Grim as fuck

Funny how one console had the issue and fixed it (for free) whilst the other still has it.
>>
Wish the pro controller had analog triggers
>>
>>742442951
Very grim.
Every single controller thread you see post-steamcontroller is BECAUSE of the steam controller, basically.
its advertising.
nothing more.
>>
>>742437045
The remappable back buttons are nice.
>>
>>742437045
Better buttons, heavier so feels better, the back buttons are nice, battery lasts longer
Quite expensive tho
>>
>>742433141

Switch controllers are so dogshit Japanese are modding them with a custom board and new TMR sticks.

Japanese only controller mods.
>>
>>742444481
also optical switches for the triggers.
>>
>>742442328
Haven't gotten drift on mine after 5 years. I think I got stupid lucky.
>>

nigga, this is just one of those comptranny custom boards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3HXdmCdUAg
what the fuck are you even doing anymore caco?
>>
>>742441667
That's a good idea
I'm gonna do this
>>
>>742437045
straight upgrade in literally every way except the dpad is possibly slightly worse
