Do the Skylanders deserve to be a part of this thing? I’m young enough that I played that before the Spyro trilogy, and I think it would be pretty easy to see the inclusion of Skylanders characters as staining the final product, but I must admit I’d be pretty happy to see Pop Fizz in this new style all these years later.

One thing I don't like about the dragon redesigns is that in the original there was a very clear nature VS industry theme with the dragons and gnorcs. Giving the dragons tons of hyper specific clothing and decorations undermines that.

The Beast Makers create and nurture all the animals in the Dragon Realms or the Dream Weavers keep the dreams of every living thing in check. Gnasty's World meanwhile is peak industrial revolution and modernity. Gnorc Cove is a dock and oil refinery. Twilight Harbor has gun production factories. None of the enemies there use magic or have anything natural as far as fauna and mountain formations. They strip mined the place and turned it into an echo of our own world.
