always felt like the bosses in this game were a tier or two bellow fromsoft's other titles. A lot of this i'd say has to do with the difficulty, or more specifically the artificial difficult.

Could specify more and probably provide examples, but one of the perfect examples i could give are the foreskin duos. They're arguably the worst boss in all of fromsoft. Are there optional bosses/minibosses that you could find tucked away in some corner that's of technically lower quality? sure, but for being an unskippable mainline boss the foreskin duos are horrific. I mean isn't it telling enough that when you kill one of them there's not even a cool gimmick like with O&S and they just fucking RESPAWN!?

some of the dlc bosses were much better, but i don't think fromsoft boss design will improve if they don't fix or at least change some of the fundamental souls mechanics. I'd argue you're playing with essentially the same demon's souls controls and character mobility while fighting sekiro bosses.

Malenia was also obviously a ported sekiro boss from the cancelled dlc and i will forever be a salty bitch about not getting the sekiro dlc to my grave.
