I replayed terraria from the start in may in master mode after not playing for years and i immediately found out how broken roller skates are, they just give the perfect amount of handling, acceleration and mobility boost to feel agile, on top of negating chilly movement reduction effects.

I played through Expert and Master with Summoner and had no issues. You don't even have to think about anything else but dodging and now that whip stacking is gone you can turn your brain off even more. Your summons do everything else so long as you hit your whip every now and then.
Though Summoner is also my favorite class so I may be more experienced in it than the others making it seem easier.
