I've been playing GTA since 1998. I've played all the mainline PC releases. I can say 100% without a doubt that I know exactly what the gameplay will be like. I can fully make a decision on whether to buy this game on that alone.

I am just going to wait for PC. Not gonna buy a console just to play it.

When it's a game this big, it legit doesn't matter. I don't know why you niggers keep making this retarded ass thread begging for (You)'s, they don't have to market or put out another trailer or gameplay and the game will still make billions on Day 1 with nonstop clips, Youtube videos, and streams being shared across the internet promoting/marketing the game better than any marketing package would have brought them. It legit does not matter. No matter how hard you apes hope and cross your fingers and twist your toes coping, it won't flop. The energy wasted making retarded threads like this could be used doing something much more productive, like brushing your teeth or washing your crusty asshole.

They haven't done gameplay pre-release since RDR1 really. I remember that game had its cinematic trailers too, but then they'd have a showcase of game features like the engine physics, dead eye mechanics, ghost towns, and other gameplay things.

It's GTA. Everyone knows what GTA is, and everyone knows how it's supposed to play like, but as long as they don't show any real footage the potential buyers can hype themselves up thinking it's actually going to be something truly revolutionary. There's nothing to gain and a lot to lose by releasing gameplay footage and revealing that yeah, it's just another GTA.

For me, it was info in game magazines then. Well and there were TV vidya shows that showed some gameplay of new vidyas.
No YT and online marketing like now.

The gameplay will involve driving a car around while someone talks to you for 5 minutes. You will then get out of the car and shoot some goons with an auto aim system, which will lead to you confronting one named goon. This will involve a cut scene with you maybe throwing him out a window.

GTA IV had nothing until people got the disc copy early and Rockstar was getting the footage taken down. VI probably won't be as extreme I'd expect a gameplay trailer around september.

Rockstar hasn't done raw gameplay footage since the PS2 era. RDR1, GTA V, and RDR2 got gameplay trailers.

Both IV and V leaked 1 week prior to release. IV might've been a little longer than that.
