UA3 is so close to being a cool game. All the pieces are there but the gear and leveling shit is so overdesigned and shit it contaminates the game to its core. It's impressive how bad they fucked it up.

A really satisfying aspect of MU 1 and 2 was upgrading the characters with the skill point and money system, and that the new character unlocks were simple. MUA3 fucks it up by adding the ISO gems, and challenge tower esque unlocks for the characters. In MUA1&2 vs 3s case, less is more.
