Wow, this game is fun, really really fun when it isn't wasting your time with those long godawful cutscenes.I'm playing it on the Legacy Collection and the Save Assist mode makes it very fun and easy to pick up and play. Sucks that the rebinding option for keyboards is so limited and shitty though. They don't even allow you to rebind in the Z Chaser mode. Why do they hate people who play on keyboard so much?

The Baby Elves making little girl noises after every single sentence is just the cherry on top.And the bosses all sound extremely flamboyant and annoying, it makes me 1000% more likely to rage. It's maddening. If I was a complete shitter, I would've probably given up by now.
I don't care much for the Zero games themselves but I respect the technical competency of the legacy collection itself. Definitely more playable than Classic or X. I do like the ZX games quite a bit at least.

In this one, you can at least play the japanese version (and even european versions) and there's a lot of polish on the menus themselves even if there's a lot of stupid decisions too. Like not being able to loop a song indefinitely in the music section.ZX is super cool, the voice acting and presentation is just sublime. I don't like how aimless it feels though. It seems like the game is linear anyway, so why bother making this confusing hub world? I'll get to it after I clear the Zero games.
