Anyone hyped for this game?

I think it's lowkey under the rader at the moment, it could end up being a sleeper hit like E33 last year
>>
Not for $70, and the passage of time mechanic might filter me altogether.
>>
>>743078647
>Unreal Engine 5
Not anymore honestly
>>
>>743078647
I'm interested, I'll wait to see how it does on release. I always wanted more Witcher 3 vampire stuff so I'm hoping it's good.
>>
>>743078647
>screenshot
that's literally just novigrad
>>
>>743079373
This. The game looks like a shit. Looks like that Gothic remake.
>>
>>743080734
It's not that it looks like shit but Unreal Engine 5 is a piece of shit
>>
>>743078647
No the gameplay is literally copy paste TW3. You active your witch- I mean vampire senses and follow blood trails.
>>
>>743078647
looks uninspired. we got Witcher 3 at home.
>>
>>743078647
I don't play Unreal Engine slop.
Engine for lazy devs who want to employ cheap jeet labor to make a shit game for them.
>>
>>743078647
I am interested. But this is one of those games that lives or dies depending on how well it executes its main gimmick, because the general gameplay looks like shit. The story, the time mechanics, and the day/night mechanics have my interest though.
>>
>>743078647
I don't understand how anyone could after seeing the gameplay videos.
>>
>human by day
>vampire by night
thats retarded, daylight's the main weakness of vampires, which means the devs dont give a shit.
>>
>>743078647
>medieval game
>everything is covered in shit
>>
>>743078647
It's Witcher 3, except you play as vampire this time.
>>
>>743083353
>human by day
>vampire by night
When do you sleep?
>>
>>743084830
A couple of minutes every couple hours, Superman style
>>
I am interested because I like vampires and don't like playing as witcher and hearing his retarded yapping
but if it plays like witcher (aka shit) then it will also be bad
>>
Gameplay looks like something you would expect from someone who never played an action game before
Main character looks as if Geralt got 20 years removed alongside his personality
>>
>You play as Coen

That's going to filter a lot of people
>>
>>743078647
It kinda looks like jank, the combat especially, but I do think the time limit + day/night gimmick could be fun so I'm mildly interested
>>
>>743080776
It definitely doesn't look good. It has UE5 look that so many games have. Look up what the gameplay looks like and you'll see for yourself.
>>
>>743078647
where do i report this game for antisemitism? this is obviously a blood libel
>>
>>743078647
we have witcher at home
>>
>>743078647
More like
Blud of the Dogwalker

Also wtf is wrong with these devs
90% of the time you can't shit everything is black and dark

I will definitely be pirating before giving them a fucking cent. Those nillas want $70 out of my pockets for a game that uses time as a resource gimmick in order to mask their lack of content? Fuck off. It better be fucking GOOD
And I hope you fucking faggots do the same thing I'll do
>>
>>743087565
>AI
>Pirating
yep, you're a brown subhuman
>>
>>743087714
Moo, goycattle.
>>

1 playthrough is about 30 hours
So i don't understand the issue
Unless you are used 80 hour ubislop
>>
>>743078647
>manbun fag vampire
>sleeper hit
in california maybe
>>
>>743078647
>vampire
>out ín broad daylight
so tired of this shit, why even make a vampire game at all
>>
are they really charging 70 for this shit anyone who saw the preview knows its trash
>>
>>743087841
witcher 3 playthrough is about 200 hours, 200 quality hours, one dollar one hour at least or I ain't p(l)aying.
>>
>>743087927
The protagonist isn't a full vampire (yet). His lungs are full of silver powder or some shit so his body is fighting the infection.
>>
>>743088251
>vampirism is a disease trope
dropped, also fuck off with this special snowflake silver lung bullshit, does it give him special powers too? is he the chosen one?
>>
>>743078647
it looks so generic. whats the draw?
>>
>>743088420
full LGBTQ+ representation
>>
>>743088351
I have read exactly one interview on this, so take this with a grain of salt. But from what I understand, the protagonist was toiling away in a silver mine and probably eventually would have died from huffing all that silver powder all day long. But because vampires in this story reproduce by removing a fang and implanting it in the victim's heart, where it begins to spread like some mushroom infection, all that silver is slowing the process down.
>>
>>743078805
Way of the Samurai 4 and Vampyr had a similar passage of time mechanic. Granted, they were both total shit games but the time mechanic never bothered me. I quite liked it actually.
>>
>>743085268

>>
YT auto play showed me a shill up video
Looks like Witcher ripoff
Shant be buying
>>
>>743088779
*Polish politicians are owned by jews
fyp, but its not really different from any other western country
>>
>>743088715
i dont remember time passing in vampyr (and i think it was a neat game, way above anything else made by its devs)
>>
>>743088954

Having the message of the people being snuffed out over some sheltered viewpoint never was a good thing.
>>
>>743078647
Already preordered physical
Most anticipated game this year for me
>>
Such a shameless ripoff of Witcher 3. Couldn't they at least have gone with a different art style? It even has fucking witcher senses. It honestly could pass as a W3 mod. Usually when people break off from bigger studios they want to create something completely different
>>
>>743090754
Poles love money above all else, which is why theyre going with what they think is a 100% safe bet.
>>
>>743078647
Don't worry, normies will gobble it up and praise it to the heavens because it's made by people who used to work on Witcherino Tres: Le Hidden Gem of Geraldo de Riviera
>>
>>743082726
/thread
>>
I guess they had vision but the implementation is cheap cash grab. The amount of interviews, screenshots Bandai post shows they are aiming for day one cash grab and then slacking long.
>>
Wait, this isn't as FF game? With such a godawful name I immediately disregarded as SEslop
>>
I was interested before seeing the gameplay, it's almost a 1:1 copy of tw3 and people don't love that game for the gay pirouette combat or activating their spidey senses to follow the trail. You'd think they could make up for it with it's story and setting then just like that game, but seeing the dialogue with the priest made me realize there's no chance of that. They chose to show this off so it must be something they were proud of, it was even changed after feedback supposedly but you can safely assume all other dialogue is written equally as amateurish or worse and won't be getting the same feedback and there's no way they drag back 100 voice actors after release to fix it.
>>
looks gay and garbage
>>
>>743078647
>hyped
Nope.
But I'm mildly interested.
Will wait until it costs 10$ to try.
How's the branching? I've heard that the world is pretty reactive and you can go easily for more than 1 playthrough.
>>
>>743078647
yeah its witcher 3 with a new story alongside having a timebased system similar to dead rising and how the story progresses depends on what you do or dont do
>>
>>743088351
No, it's an ailment you get if you spend your life working in silver mines with protection.
>>
>>743078647
They just announced that they have two million wishlists. I don't know if that's a lot or not, but I guess it isn't completely flying under the radar.
Anyway if I end up buying it I'll pick "physical" because it's about $10 cheaper in my country.
>>
>>743096585
I mean at the end of the day it's still "from the people who made witcher 3" and people love that game
I just didn't expect them to make witcher 3 again
>>
>>743078647
I am very interested, been craving both big open-world RPG and vampire type games so this is a perfect fit.
>>
>>743088351
>is he the chosen one?
God I hope so. I don't want some rando from bumfuck nowhere saving the world.
>>
>>743078647
Combat looks like absolute ass. Like they combined the worst aspects of the Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come Deliverance.

>>743088064
difference is you apparently will not be able to do everything in a single playthrough because of time limits and how said time advances when you make decisions
>>
>>743097618
I mean, you can still do everything in a single playthrough. It just means the family is kill by the time you do the final boss. So bothering with the time mechanics is essentially a self-imposed challenge.
>>
>>743097918
also some meta guide showing sidequests worth to finish KEK
>>
>>743088251
the protagonist its slav snoop dog adicted to smoke silver? KEK
>>
>>743088715
i just remember vampyr was a shit soulslike in term of if you fuckup sidequest fuck you also lamest blood drinking power up social mechanic
>>
>>743078647
I am sorry dude, but I cannot stand playing these massive RPGs with garbage combat anymore. The game looks exactly like Witcher 3, and I actually mean that as both a compliment and insult. It has high production value and an epic story and world with tons of quests and decisions and ethics and characters, but it is all held together by a constant combat that is just bad, repetitive, and not engaging. It is also a major issue because so many of the rewards from quests and exploration are combat related.
>>
>>743078647
I'm, even pre-ordered the steel case edition. Personally, looking good, seems like a better version of Vampyr mixed with the Witcher, could be kino.

>Finally a vampire game with claw combat
Why it took it so long for that? Rarely we see that shit in games
>>
>>743078647
>I think it's lowkey under the rader at the moment, it could end up being a sleeper hit like E33 last year
nigger everyone is alread dickriding this trash because "MUH WITCHER DEVS!!!!!!", get the fuck outta my face
>>
>>743078647
The name is fucking terrible bro. I would have literally just called it "Dawnwalker"
>>
>>743099927
some trannies will confuse it with ffxiv as a random expansion
>>
The main thing I'm curious about is whether it's possible to side with the vampires. If it is I imagine it'll be a bit like in ELEX, where the entire game is about gaining access to the big bad through opposing his faction, but your karma/alignment changes the final outcome.
>>
>>743078647
Seems like a eurokino with some eurojank on it
>>
>>743078647

60 quid for the base edition and 70 quid for the full version is pretty spendy for a random indie game, desu.
>>
>>743078647
It looks like a 2015 game
>>
>>743100808
That's a good thing. The only issue is the 2026 price.
>>
>>743078647
I will follow this game but the more I know about it the less I'm interested. Last gameplay showcases were ass. It looks like they decided to do everything people hated in cyberpunk 2077 instead of just copying the witcher 3
>>
>>743100886
I mean visually. But I doubt it'd even launch on a 960.
>>
I have a feeling this is gunna be another Mindseye slop
>>
>>743088351
>vampirism is a disease trope
The most famous vampire hunter of all time was a specialist in exotic diseases.
It's not a trope, it's the standard.
>>
>>743078647
Day 1 purchase for me.
>>
>>743101074
Minimum req is the 1060, so who knows. It might at least launch.
>>
Looks okay but will only buy if confirmed good. Too much chance for it to be mediocre
>>
>>743078647
>the janker
Looks awful.
>>
>>743099846
Same.
The medieval Wallachia style setting alone sold it for me. I'll play this instead of Witcher 4 which looks like a poz load
>>
>>743083353
Game literally has "dawnwalker" in the title, doofus.
>>
is the witcher 1+2 worth playing
>>
>>743078647
Has anyone spotted any niggers in the gameplay they've revealed so far.
One single nigger = Ignore list
>>
>>743101612
I liked the first one but I don't care for 2-3. So if you liked 3 probably not.
>>
>>743078647
woke? denuvo? price? length?
>>
>>743088064
>200 quality hours
more like 40 quality hours of well made side quests
rest is nests and same bandit camps

>>743097618
Sounds like a good thing
and nice way to make repayable RPG
>>
>>743101720
iirc only in the present day trailer. Which is a teaser for potential sequels and not something actually in the game.
That said, I wouldn't hold my breath.
>>
>>743101612
Only if you really care about the lore and characters, especially 2. Storywise, 2 has some of the best moments in the series. 1 has aged terribly both the visuals and the gameplay, although I'm sure there are mods that alleviate both those issues.
>>
>>743101889
Turks and Pontics are fine. Even a Syrian is stretching it, however.
I nearly shit myself when you said present day trailer. I had visions of them doing Assassin's Creed stuff.
I might go watch some YT vids on this and then watch Dracula Untold or something.
>>
>>743101750
>woke?
Unknown. If it is, they are hiding it.
>denuvo?
Not for now, but it's published by Bandai so stay vigilant.
>price?
$70
>length?
30 hours if you want the good end, much longer if you don't.
>>
>>743088351
No, for what I heard, the "Dawnwalker" is actually a rare case which can happen in different forms, the protagonist got it after working on a silver mine, but others can acquire without silver involved. But vampirism isn't a disease, but an "ritual/process" which the vampire must rip his fang/teeth and shove it into the victim's heart, but its not 100% certain to work, some times the victim can turn into a mindless monster
>>
>>743078647
>walk around the open world for hours

Witcher 3 without dlc is 80 hours of 'good' gametime.
>>
>>743078647
Not after that combat showcase
I can already see how tedious it's going to be 10 hours in when I just want to finish X quest, or on repeated playthroughs, so I might as well not even bother getting invested in the first place
>>
Its not a billion dollar production so... why care
Sure it could be alright, or might be mid. Who cares.
If it comes out and theres 90+ metacritic score I'll check it out

It uses a compass that never goes away, and it's made by tranny polacks, and it still spoonfeeds you all information through other kinds of visual cues while the compass still remains bloated up in the most important part of the screen, so no, I'm not hyped for this faggot-coded vampire game.

They're definitely dropping this mechanic for the second or third game, that is if the game becomes a hit. This game feels like it's aimed at baldur's gate 3 fans, with a witcher coat fo paint. Probably mostly women and mentally ill people.
