It's only a problem for genshin and other 3d open world gachas because they rely on only a few character models (e.g. short, medium and tall), to make their characters stand out they have to overdesign the shit out of them. Other gachas, take blue archive or fgo for example, don't have that issue since they can draw pretty much anything they want.
