And on newer models lie Flux they work by putting things in context with other parts of the image. So the finger is the thing on the end of the hand near other fingers. The AI can't count the fingers, so it doesn't now if there are three or four or five or Six. It is better than it was with older SD models, but its never going to be 100% perfect which is why whoever is genning it should do some in-painting, re-run seeds, or otherwise nudge small errors like that back in the acceptable range. I try, before posting, to at the very least count the arms an legs, make sure they have the right number of joints going the right way, and double-checking the finger count so I don't look like an asshole posting sloppa with no filter.

Nor is it really needed. Would be nice to just have a basic Metroid game without any extra stuff. I think Samus' new moveset with her Metroid DNA will be enough to make the game unique without adding some external gimmick. In general I'd prefer "internal" gimmicks changing how Samus controls over external ones like SA-X or the EMMIs because the former doesn't affect the game design like the latter.
