Why did he do it
>>743218362What the fuck is the deal with the bicycle kick in Remix 11. I keep missing it, I can perfect it otherwise. I swear the timing on it is different.
>get remix 6 done>part way credits for deep sea>you don't actually get to play it unless you go out of your way to laterThat's really lame I can't lie. >hop stop n roll 2NOO>yum-bot 2NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
they gave silver some little tits in remix 11 they really are compressed by her suit
>>743219013all games get a second version. thats how RH always has been
>>743218362max headroom in my rhythm heaven??
I hate the timing of catching in yum-bot simulatorit feels so unintuitive
The music vibes of Scary Moon reminds me so much of Spooky Mormon Hell Dream.
>>743218362yum-bot almost has ac-bu vibesin fact why didn't they just hire ac-bu to make some of the minigames, it would've been kino
cutie patootie <3
okay how do i see the live shows i want to see it before im spoiled on any more secrets
>>743220592I couldn't describe the rhythm to you if I tried but my brain has managed to handle it at different tempos. It's really weird.
>>743220208>all games get a second versionUnless they don't. Imagine a Monkey Watch 2.
Are the A for Effort pictures AI made? Or am I just that brainrotted by AI online?
>>743223339brainrotted
>>743223339not brainrotted, just retarded
>>743220592I got a medal first try after I stopped looking at the screen. It's just on the 4th beat every time
the stock photo games are so lazy
Need a V2 edit of clappers 2
None of the new games compare to vidrelhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGxmCLoWjEk
>>743221917Random chance of one happening every time the cafe updates (which requires you to finish a minigame first, otherwise it won't update). In my experience they are very rare, and shows can repeat before you see them all. Expect to take a long time before you can see them all.
I got all perfects in the GBA game except for *that* one game.
>>743224625That game? Mahou Tsukai
>tweezers bow to the wiper bosses>in contact with warping aliens>rumored to possess rhythmic abilities>control France with an iron but fair fist>own cars and sunglasses all over the worldmafias... are scary... don't mess with the yakuza
>>743228318which one is the boy and which one is the girl? neither of them have eyelashes or a hair bow
I've been replaying DS recently
I kneel to Japanese-Sama perfecting every game
>>743223339Absolutely brainrotted, you’re not gonna like the 4-Man Clapping Together Minigame
>>743228318They look like Male and Female Chorus Kids with Sunshades.
>>743228628>Japanese
>>743228526Will never forgive that there wasn't DJ 2 or Love Lab 2 but fucking Dazzles 2
>>743229153It's legit the exact same game as the first one. It has the exact same inputs
I want to kiss Lil Miss Reed’s Feet
I didn’t think Remix 20 was that badIt does its job of being an All Star Smash Bros style remix of all the games you’ve played.
I only played the DS one and Megamix, how does this stack up?Also I guess I should get around to playing the Wii one, I never did all the games in Megamix cause they were locked behind the challenges
>>743230179Easily clears Megamix, and I'd say it's better than DS. Wii is absolutely worth checking out though, I think it's pretty much the consensus that it's still the best.
Beatspell is too difficult
>>743230116It's a nice melody of all the games that came before it and I think it works great. I feel like Megamix set people's expectations way too high since that remix was a celebration of the entire series. I clicked on a fanmade Remix 20 people swore was "better" but it sounded like sped up bullshit.
We may not have her or Tap Trial in the game but Lil Miss Reeds is the next best thing.
>>743231209I'll go check Fever out then

sex with flat idol
>>743232386*AHEM*
>>743232409No!Elbowing each other.
>>743228526I never understood the moai doo wop hate exactlyits one of my favorites easily, but yes it is terrible to perfect. But i dont know if people are just hating on it due to that or what. Its super easy to superb, it's only perfecting it where it's broken. Also Rockers 2, what was the issue with that its super inoffensive
is it me or does everything look so fuckable in this game's artstyle?
>>743233131Rockers 2 was the only song in the entire game that required you to push buttons on a game that is otherwise entirely touch screen.
>>743233131>what was the issue with that its super inoffensiveIt's not actually that bad to play it just pisses me off
>>743233219Yes, and...?is this some kind of "cant handle food touching each other on the plate" thing
>>743233579Imagine that a singular song in Fever requires waggle controls when literally the entire rest of the game uses the A and B buttons. They didnt have to use the shoulder button, the touch screen controls still would have worked.
>>743233131I don't know about anybody else, but for me, all games where you have to re-input a rhythm I'm just terrible at
wtf, why was remix 20 so basic?I was hyped up for max trolling after earlier remixes introduced the concept of overlapping 2 games on top of each other, but there was absolutely nothing to try and trip you up
>>743233131did you actually play doo wop on the DS? shit's impossible to make the taps register correclty
Tip for Brolly: Hit earlier on the longer pauses. On Brolly 2 I noticed I was almost always failing on the longer pauses (1 rest 2 rest 3 rest 4). I changed my timing to hit the button slightly earlier than I thought I should during those sections, and instantly got the Perfect
>>743234448I don't think any final remix has used gimmicks besides fake-out endings. They're always been a straightforward medley. I wouldn't a super tricky one in the future though.
REPLY TO THIS POST WITH YOUR S-TIERS:
>>743234848>Ribbit Rocket >Slice N Dice Kitchen>Backup Spotlight>Wiper Bosses>Brolly 2>Deep Sea>Flutter Speed 2>Remix 9>High-Five Fever (1 & 2)>Soda Hop 2>Space Sentry 2>Remix 20
>>743234848https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IlAU_Aq4MM
>>743234563>fake out ending>the credits minigame>the rhythm test minigame>the endless minigames>title screen medleyWhat other gimmick would you even want to see? Can't include stuff like rhythm toys and score games since final remixes only use games you know the controls and cues for.I could see them mixing up visuals and cues for games that are otherwise identical (example: Spaceball and Air Rally) but that doesnt sound like final remix material, and more for a gimmick youd want extended for a full remix of its own
>>743234848S Tier:>High-Five FeverA tier:>A for Effort unironically
>>743234848Sneezy Moon 2Cake Wait is also S tier multiplayer
>>743235070Top comment pointed out something I hadn't thought about:>"I love that sequels are getting original music instead of variations of their OG theme"That's a big W for Groove. This type of high quality shit and the sheer quantity of games makes the lack of unique visuals for most of the remixes and Level 2s sting less.
>>743234848
>no tango minigame in grooveLAME-Ohttps://youtu.be/oNk8JpuVrz4?is=YbORaQuo-9GMR9VE
Soccer Dreams felt like it should have gotten a third game or something
>>743235505There's no minigame that prominently features a monkey, eitherOther than Fruit Flex 2 I guess
>>743218362Why is anons face on the screen?
>>743235675(Was meant to be a reply to the Tango guy)
>>743235401In some cases its great but the familiarity of the same tune but in an entirely different genre of music felt compelling for some sequels to have. Plus it also reinforced that its "X game's theme" which of course you carry with you in the back of your mind into the final remix.Im mixed on it but I dont dislike this approach, they technically did this with the Karate Man games in Megamix even if only prequel, Tengoku, and Senior were along the main campaign path.
>>743235675tfw no built to scale 4To be fair most have been mid (GBA) or suck (Wii). The series is absolutely hard carried by Built to Scale DS being elder god-tier. Still a shame they killed the tradition. At least Karate Joe made it.
>>743234563Fever uses a gimmick where multiple "tap on the beat" minigames appear in sequence without warning you that the game is changing, so you're maintaining the same beat while the visuals/cues change
>>743235609>go to comments>select newest
I don't fucking get the timing on flutter speed.
>>743235972DS did that as well by having one of the targets in Shoot Em Up be a stepswitcher from Lockstep for the game transition.
>>743235228megamix also had the tempo increasing
DOKIDOKI SURU KARA LALA LA LAHIMINGU SHIYOU YO LALAAA
>>743235849fever's sucked, so good riddancepolyrhythm 2 is awesome though, one of those games you cant do at all at first but once you get it, it feels super great to do
>>743235849Megamix didn't have a new built to scale either to be fair
>tfw most remixes don't have special outfitsSure Groove has more content, but at what cost...
>>743236067Also most of Remix 8.Such a good song. I still get tingles thinking of the start of the lockstep segment.
>>743236174>polyrhythm
>>743236098I wouldnt consider a tempo change to be a gimmick youd only see in a final remix, in fever you got that as early as Seesaw.
>>743235609Hello NonchalantSOM.What a stupid fucking feature thanks google
>>743233202end of bloodline
>>743234848Ribbit Rocket is probably the most quintessential Rhythm Heaven game in the entire series. It's Built to Scale levels of good. Wouldn't surprise me if they contemplated putting it as the first game. Maybe they moved it to the 2nd column because its higher concept than Hoop Trundling (which is underrated, the song is a standout).
>>743234848>remix 5>sneezy moon 2>wiper bosses 1>lightning bolting 2>space sentry 2
>>743234448Remix 18 already just used the overlapping mechanic. You can definitely tell they liked it considering how much they used it. It's in prominent in 3 (4?) remixes
Munchy monk was the best guitar lesson from DS, turning it into a ska song was kino
>>743237323My only complaint is that the song is so short. I needed more of it.
>>743237323Where the fuck is my second ska kino Tsunku?
the more I play the more Groove edges out Fever. what a great entry
>>743236318True, out of the 12 new games Karate Joe is the only one they kept and view as a mandatory tradition.
>>743234848Flutter Speed and its sequel for the cute Insect Sound Effects
100% menu
>>743237591It does feel weird that he's no longer punching the things but I deeply appreciate them using the "OH YEAH" sfx from tengoku despite it being entirely unnecessary.
All games in the series
>>743235849The Built to Scale on GBA Master Difficulty filtered me so hard I had to use savestates between each pause. GBA is unforgiving with how many things you can miss.
>>743237792>GBA master difficultyWhat's that?
>>743236032It’s so extremely easy just keep practicing and it will becomd second nature! :D
>>743237597Flutter Speed 1 is cute but it's way too short and easy. It feels like it's over before it really begins.2 is fantastic and feels like the full realization of the concept. Better song too, it's fucking great
>>743236613YouTube continuing to add pointless shit nobody asked for, thought I was the only one that had this annoying pop up.
>>743237715Only Rhythm Masters can achieve this
>>743237954Meanwhile other games feel like they last an eternity like Germ Aerobics 2 and the 4 Sweeper Dudes (SPEEN SPEEN)
>>743236345I wonder if the new assets always took more effort than people thought. I know devs always say asset creation is one of the largest time sinks for game dev.
>>743237863This shit, the blue minigameMeanwhile the Baseball game is extremely easyhttps://youtu.be/T0-KdQufpU4
>>743238132Sweeper Star 1 and 2 are kino.I like having variety in the length. Synchro Wing is short but complex. Germ Aerobics and Sweeper Star are long but simple. Flutter Speed 1 is just too short and simple, unfortunately
