When I first put the game in, I was genuinely amazed. I thought it was awesome. Extraordinary, even. I was like “yeah, this is it, this is peak gaming.” The world looked insane, the combat felt intense, everything was mysterious and cool and I was fully locked in from the start. But then I ran into one small problem that completely ruined my entire experience. I thought there was going to be a powerful, legendary, wearable ring called the Elden Ring. Like an actual ring. Something you equip. Something that gives you insane stats. Something that makes you basically unstoppable and cool-looking at the same time. That’s what I signed up for. So naturally, I started looking for it. At first it was casual. Just exploring. Doing a few fights. Checking the map. “I’ll find it soon,” I thought. But then it escalated. I started clearing entire regions. Killing bosses. Reading item descriptions I didn’t understand. Talking to NPCs like they were going to drop hints. It became personal. And the worst part is—I think I was too far gone to stop. I should’ve paid more attention to the story and the cutscenes, but instead I got locked into this idea that the Elden Ring was somewhere out there, just waiting to be found and equipped. So I kept pushing forward, thinking “it has to be next area, it has to be this boss, it has to be this dungeon.”Hours turned into days. Days turned into way too many hours. And then I finally reached the end of the game. And what do I find? Not a ring. Not even close. Just some giant dumbass yellow tree situation called the Elden Ring or something. At that point I was already in too deep. 300+ hours gone. Fully invested. Emotionally committed. And the “Elden Ring” turns out to be a metaphysical concept tied to a ugly ass yellow tree that you absolutely cannot wear on your finger. And even if it wasn’t broken or whatever… I still can’t wear it. Which feels like a major design oversight, if you ask me. So yeah. That’s why I give this game a 0/10

Next time dont skip the intro where they explicitly spell out what the ring is
Ffs the guy even says it like 3 times
And you do get one and you give it your blue wife
