The Wii U was a great time in my life. I was traveling around the country with my college bros for vidya tournaments, dating hot girls, shooting guns. It was a good time. The release cadence of the Wii U suited my lifestyle, the few games it got had some really great ones in the pile. Mario 3D World, Smash 4, Tropical Freeze, Splatoon etc. It was fun.
