No, that would be Void Stranger. It's top 20 at least though

>>743250410In terms of cultural impact, possibly. Cave Story is just another game in the doujin scene, which has tons and tons of great titles and labors of love, even by single individuals. Cave Story, and by extension Yume Nikki and to a lesser extent La-Mulana, were some of the first doujin games to breakout into the Western side of the Internet, beyond just circles of cult-popularity. Touhou obviously is another example, though that was largely by sheer force and presence on the part of Japanese net users.
