I played it. It's alright. The pacing is kinda fucked with some floors being way too long and the map is shit. I would have also appreciated if the game delved more into the plot because I found the premise and the dynamic between Ares and Dela kinda interesting. But aside from that it's a fairly enjoyable dungeon crawler with some great music. I heard that the pc98 version and the sequels are significantly better but I haven't tried them yet.

I wish we could get older Falcom titles, even if they are just ports. So sick of every company having to narrow their focus on popular titles because no one can afford to do anything novel, unique, or off-color.
