Nobody is going to want to play a FPS where you have to spend 15-30 seconds on a minigame to load one musket bullet just for it to have an RNG chance of missing if you shoot it any further than pointblank range. A Sharpe-style "original the character has cool adventures in the Napoleonic setting" story could be cool, but it would play as more of a standard action game where your actual sword is more important than your gun most of the time.
