Truth nuke is that reach's story was more half baked and a patchwork of loosely related concepts than halo 2 was. Did you know that the elite that killed cat and the final elite field marshal you kill before getting in the mac gun was supposed to be the same nigga and he was supposed be a nemesis that slowly followed you around and picked off noble team one by one throughout the game? or that girl that you save in the first mission that Jorge was defensive over was supposed to tag along with you as her own character? these are just a few near complete unrealized concepts that never made into the final game cause Bungie sucked at prioritization.
