Its really fucking good, and i think the FF7 characters did it more harm than good since they took away attention from its merits as a fighting game and just made people think it was a cashgrab novelty.

Its probably the only good true 3D fighting game and maybe the only serious one in the genre aside from Psychic Force

No free directional movement, and only a single vertical plane, its not true 3D.
"3D" fighters that keep opponents locked facing each other on a single flat plane like Tekken, VF, and SC are just 2D with sidesteps.
