I replayed MMZ2 again recently and I'm always amazed by how despite having so much shit in it, like the leveling of weapons, the mismatched rank and Elf systems, the screen being too small, every boss just being charged sword into charged rod, and so on, it still manages to be so fun. I think its levels and difficulty are the best in the series despite its issues. I love that game. Also, tangentially, I really hope Luminous Avenger iX 3 is good because I love the first game.
