For me it's building/upgrading a town in a non-builder game and having useful NPCs in it, more games like this? In picrel they can even do simple jobs like treecutting and farming and sort your chests. That feel when you come back from a dungeon, drop all your shit in a chest and then 20 villagers go BRRRR sorting the items into the correct chests.
