Xenos are just there as a side show to the main show of the Imperium VS Chaos.
The Tyranids are a mistake. At best, they should have combined part of their concept with that of Chaos. Instead, we’ve got this bizarre apocalyptic faction that doesn’t seem all that apocalyptic because they always get btfo in evry fucking fight thanks to some convenient excuse. Their role is already perfectly fulfilled by the Orks and Chaos.

I agree. Remove all of the organized Chaos factions like CSM and the Chaos gods, make the Warp just a magic dimension that drives you crazy but holds great power, and sometimes shits out daemons, and make the setting about religious humans vs asshole aliens.
