Is it cool to like DEX again?
>>743271952>Loses the coin toss and diesNo
>>743271952No, slightly faster STR isn't cool.
>>743271952Dex>Capped at 80Strength >If you 2h your weapon you get a +50% bonus, making it that even if it caps at 80 you effectively have 120>All the good weapons have better strength scalingYeah no, dex is dead
>>743271952Only Katana & unarmed care about dex.Of course, unarmed is broken as fuck.
>>743271952DEX is alright.
>>743271952I prefer LCK
love scorchlander girls
>Equipping 2 katanas as if that does anything
>>743271952DEX was always cool. you're uncool for listening to haters.
>>743271952It's pretty good, but I would have them primarily use crossbows with a wakizashi as a sidearm. I just don't think they cut it as your primary melee in comparison to strength fighters, especially sheks, and crossbows are the best way to beat basically everything in this game.
>>743272712Do you play any other games
>>743271952nah
>>743271952>tfw no Lumi gf
>>743271952>againnever was
>>743273354>equips the blood sword in the other hand>drains 1/16 of enemy hp every turn
The reason why "Str vs Dex" is even an argument is because of the limitations of the video game medium. Having more dex typically just means more damage on Dex-based attacks, higher hit chance or crit chance, and MAYBE higher attack speed, where as in a more realistic game or a game trying to emulate the fighting style/playstyle of really high dex character could literally jump over people's heads and teleport around and shit like an epic ninja assassin, it's just not represented that way because of how games are programmed.
>>743274686>where as in a more realistic game>literally jump over people's heads and teleport around and shit like an epic ninja assassinwutin a more realistic game moving fast is just a different form of strength
>>743274362what's fucked is those guys are ~70kg, Eddie could lift 7 of those guys (490kg) at once, could probably bowser toss one out of the ring given the chance.

>>743271952Kenshi 2 when ?
>>743271952Always has been
>>743274784>>743275230You're all lame and gay, I do epic ninja techniques all the time irl
>>743275868yeah with your 250 lbs of fat retard strength not your imaginary dexterity
>>743276013Another win for QUALITYchads
>>743275765How do you improve upon perfection?
>>743274686if you have more dex you logically have more strength and vice versa, the only way this doesnt happen is if you are specifically working out to be one of those potato shaped powerlifters
>>743274784He's got a point even if his example is pretty gay. RPG characters are somewhat superhuman. STR characters exhibit this with massive strength allowing them to swing massive weapons for massive damage. That's what you'd expect a massively strong warrior to do. DEX characters exhibit their superhuman ability by... doing more damage with smaller/curved weapons. For some reason. We can assume that they are fighting with more skill than the STR character. They've practiced their cuts, they have better form, maybe they target vital organs those with less dex couldn't. But ultimately that's all in your head and all that's in the game is the damage number goes up(but only with these specific weapons). It'd be cool for dexterous characters to actually be shown to be dexterous instead of just being STR by another name, but that would take more effort than just changing the weapon model. Special attacks that show off skill being tied to DEX makes more sense than how a game like Dark Souls treats it. Attacks like a flick to the brow to blind them with blood, a hamstring attack, maybe targeting their liver to cause severe bleeding DoT, special counter attacks or ripostes, etc. The best example in DS would be how rapiers had that backstep attack.
>>743276152More stability and better modding support in any shape or form and I hope they bring the Kenshi 1 map into the second game separately playable, that is all
>>743275230i really like this creature
>>743273461Imagine getting to the LAST DUNGEON using the fucking STARTING EQUIPMENT in a game where there are 100000 items to use. Holy fuck do you have any creativity at all?
so how about that sentient sands?
