I was lied to by the internet about 4x games.
I was told how complicated they were, and how you need a college degree to play paradox games effectively, but the ai in these games is beyond dogshit and poses no challenge whatsoever.
After you learn the games systems your left with a non challenging easy ass game and are forced to move onto multiplayer for a challenge.
Fuck 4x boomers rts are way more deep.

Even with those difficulties the ai just cheats and it barely changes the actual ai behavior it just improves its templates.
How autists have 1000s of hours in this genre, for it not to get old and they be entertained by a non existent ai and challenge is beyond understanding
