>>743284462Its actually pretty solid, especially if you liked Breath of the Wild kind of movement or any sort of survival crafting/automation game. But fair warning, it gets REALLY grindy in the mid-game. Like by lv40 you're capturing/breeding 100s of the same not-pokemon to merge them into more powerful leveled up versions, and doing minmax autist shit to get the perfect perks/abilities on them. Not to mention exp gain drops off a cliff. Like half of your playthru is just getting the last 10 levels to be strong enough to take on the final bosses. Good shit though, you'll get 500 hours out of a $30 game.

>>743284462Palworld's really shallow when you get down to it, elemental advantage means almost nothing and all pals function nearly identically. the gear progression is just tiered garbage that forces you to get higher spheres purely due to higher levels making the lower ones worthless.its a pretty mediocre survival game but its a good casual experience and it takes out most of the grind/time progression that other survival games have.Ark for example is a much better deeper game content wise but its cluttered with autistic rates and repetitive grinding, not to mention the price point but that's something else entirely.
