hot tips: do not focus on getting weapons until end game or just routine grinding for terra prisma legednary.Otherwise in general vortex beater and terraprisma are decent.If anything doing statuses are better or keeping your pals boosted and healed up.as far as I can tell raids don't work for some reason if you have walls.most weapon and armor on the tech tree are pointless since you can get schematics so easily.Herbil is nice but lyleen or lyleen noct are much better cause you can just cycle your pals and if they are dead or nearly dead you can bring them back to nearly full.Start a breeding base immediately even before a mining base, and to do that I recommend your first base to be a mining base, since you'll probably want to destroy your first base eventually anyways it ends up being a decent choice.do not craft spheres, early on you can get vixies, condensing them will have them dig up nicers spheres but it's not worth the cake. Instead you should focus on getting a good yakumo with musclehead or demon god or other good passives, getting one early will really help you out down the line, and breeding early is great because of mutations. You don't have to use a pal calculator if you don't want to, you can just test combos yourself and write them down, it's mostly harmless but I'm not made of fucking cake. Ignore skills that you can get with the surgery table, unless it's to pull off a negative from yakumo, otherwise it doesn't matter and can mess with yeilds.Go fishing, fishing is a fast way to get turtacle and turtacle terra which are excellent for resource gathering and can get pretty strong to get you infinite blazamut. It's even better than chests or trash piles. Level up fast by catching the early pals so you can get a better fishing rod so you can fish at feybreak which is south of the fishing village. You will get great pal spheres safer and faster than running around, but the minigame is fucking hard.

Don't you think the single work-suitability pals were the big winners this patch? (Foxparks, Teafant, Gumoss etc...) since you can easily juice them up to +5 now. Also; they eat far less food making them ideal base-pals, especially in the early game.

Early game pals are passive regardless of the time of day, the raids are easily cheesed, and there is no time limit or motivator to hurry you along instead of sitting on your ass playing dollhouse. Even Minecraft makes you shit yourself during the first night. In Palworld, there are multiple circumstances that prevent invasions entirely. Food starts and ends with simple berries. I'm not exactly trying to say the game is too easy since the combat can be unforgiving at times, but it needs some form of stressor for the player at the home front. Some sort of dogshit mechanic that would be loathed by the fanbase, but would greatly reward optimized base building.

The warmer hue on the early access version is really just a preference so I won't go on it, but at a first glance getting rid of the distant fog in 1.0 seems to be the smoking gun, the LODs seem more or less the same, but the fog did a better job at masking them, so without it the visuals seem to be lower quality, because the actual lower quality LODs are seen more clearly now. I can try having a look at other areas if I have the time and you guys want.
