Don Mattrick was right, this is all you need, consoles peaked here.

Xbox was always shit and for deadbeats with one parent
>>743289901All Microsoft products are like parasitic wasps. The 360 was the point where they started devouring the caterpillar alive.>Intentionally ruined the controller market by fucking up the DirectInput implementation on the 360 controller and forcing the significantly less capable Xinput API, which ended up being the API of choice for bad portjobs>Poured a lot of propaganda money into 360 controller marketing and made it cheap so that the sabotaged controller was ubiquitous>Generally had shit build quality, was on a subscription plan and was sold at a loss so that it could get into more households>Started achievement cancer>Cannibalized the PC market even worse than the first Xbox which already killed multiple PC studios and crippled several PC/Xbox multiplats>GFWL>Did not allow patches if they were not bundled with DLC>Wanted to normalize multiple barebones 15$ DLC packs per game>Had no motion controls except for the Kinect which was at odds with every other implementation since it didn't use a controller>Normalized matchmaking slop
>>743289901>54.2% failure rate
>>743290848only applies to the first 13% of consoles that were sold
>>743289901>least reliable generation mechanically of all timeNo, I don't think so.
>>743293706He's not talking about the build quality anon, or even really the specific tech per-say, just the tech level. You can use the PS3 as the example instead if you wish. The point being that a late PS360 game isn't meaningfully different from a modern one, while costing astronomically less time, manpower, and money to make. Hell the Switch 1 won the console war against the PS5 and is basically on par with the 360 power-wise.
