I think it's generally considered law biased since by default you start law aligned if you just use the default names, but the actual story feels like one that demonizes law all the time. Center is corrupt, Angels are corrupt, then "true" law is also corrupt.

The whole law ending is kind of baffling. Note Satan accusing YHVH of genocide isn't even in the original script (and it makes no sense since you helped that) he just gives a line about YHVH now also needing to pay for his sins.

Megami Tensei I is very basic and is purely set in one big dungeon with a few restpoints. It's still pretty fun but you need to know what you're getting into. 2 is excellent, especially the famicom version. Has an actual overworld, some neat little twists, and really great music thanks to the Namco 163 sound chip.

Christians and muslims think he is jesus who will bring the end times and jews think he is the messiah they never had who will make everyone their slaves. The true ending would be fighting the three of them to reach the final boss called Semitic Godhead. The idea being that the messiah really is the new messiah because the messiah rejects the current doctrine and creates a new testament just how jesus did. The bible speaks that when jesus returns many will oppose him, this would be analogous to the pharisees rejecting jesus as the messiah for going against rabbinical doctrine and the god of the old testament. The MC will go against the will of YHVH which will make him an enemy to the three factions just how jesus made an enemy of the jews and by becoming the hero of the people a new religion will be born based around him, either creating a new god/goddess (this being the shin megami tensei) or doing something else to the throne
