One day game requirements will be so high, that you'd have no choice but to cloudplay.
>>743293362I have a choice, I can just not play those games
>>743293362No game that needs some faggot datacenter to run is worth playing.
>>743293362>Reduction in Pirating GamesHow does that benefit me?
>>743293362I'll just keep playing old vydia on my gaymen pc if that happensfuck being a cloud slave
>>743293362Yeah but how is it going to stop me from just playing older or web based games?
>>743293362>access your games anywhere!>except when travelling on a plane/train/bus and you want to kill time, or when you're vacationing and have slow hotel internet>so basically at home, where you already have other devices that can play games locallylollmao even
>>743293362But they can't increase the requirements of morrowind.
can I mod my games on the cloud?
>>743296470what on he head

No, i'll not subscribe to your monthly access with ever increasing price shit.I have 5k games on steam, more than that in roms. I only ever buy games that are already heavily discounted. If the game is expensive, i won't buy. If it demands always on, i won't buy. I can stop buying games and only switching pc components that fail and i'm still set for life.If steam goes belly up i'll just pirate.
>>743293362and yet, i can emulate 40 years of gameswould i rather emulate 40 years of games or pay a subscription service forever? answer is pretty clear retardlag, can't mod, don't own it to be able to replay as you please, reliant on it being on their shitbag service to begin with at all, don't care about piracy not my concern, "saving money" is nonsensical. how long does a pc usually last you reasonably? at least 5 years. they will charge you more for this shit, with all its limitations and caveats and lack of freedom, in less than 5 years with ease. without even considering you can make a pc last longer than 5 easily
>>743293362>access to games from anywhere**with internet>saving money by removing front up costs of a gaming PCIt won't save money in the long term. Or even the medium term.>reduction in pirating gamesThat's not a benefit.>compatibility to lower end devicesMore poorfags is exactly the opposite of what we need.>no download & installation timesAlso no ownership.>cross platform syncingThat already exists on PC. Why would I want to use any platform other than PC?
Game requirements will be oh so high, but games will still look worse than Arkham Knight or RDR2.
>>743293362I wouldn't mind cloud gaming but the input delay fucking sucks. And it eats up so much data.
Remember the insistent shilling about miraculous "negative latency" in that brief moment between Stadia's launch and shutdown?
>>743296645>It won't save money in the long term. Or even the medium term.how much have cloud gaming services cost before?
So what happens when you want to play on old game that's not listed anywhere anymoreOr what happens when you want to emulate somethingOr what happens when some windows update borks a game version and someone has to manually fix itWhat happens when the user wants to mod their game?
>>743297548You sound like a right-winger and vaguely antisemitic
>>743298390>You sound like a right-winger and vaguely antisemitic
>>743294112thisThere's still hundreds, nay, THOUSANDS of games from 1990-2007 that I haven't played yetI can just play those instead of modern normieslop
>>743293362I have a billion games ive yet to play, im not buying any more, goodbye!
>>743297548calm down goy, stop thinking so much
