I've played through that one UT99 total conversion of the game first then the steam port recently

I did play 1 and 2, they're very fun, but by how the levels are designed I think they appeal more to a dungeon crawler fan than a shooter fan.

Yes, all three. They're pretty good. Probably the only boomer shooter with no hitscan enemies.
