Playing FF7R makes it obvious whenever they invented a new character because they look and act like weird out-of-place anime characters, like Leslie. and also when they had to give the three Avalanche members more personality they resorted to annoying anime tropes and stereotypical behavior.Everything new in the FF7 remakes is very noticeably lesser in quality.

Yuffie had no relevance in the original game and was treated like she wasn't even there, she never went to Midgar, Wutai wasn't at war with Shinra nor aided Avalanche in any way and Sonon is also a completely new character too. All of this shit is from Ever Crisis and Dirge of Cerberus. In Ever Crisis Glenn creates the SRC (Shinra Resistance Committee), of which Yuffie is part of, and they provide Avalanche with armament. Nero, Weiss and the rest of Tvets/Deepground, or whatever, are the main baddies in Dirge of Cerberus, the only FF7[Compilation] story where Yuffie has any relevance.
