It's barely a stealth game. It's just Uncharted with a James Bond skin.
>>
>>743300452
Bond has never been a stealth character
>>
>>743300452
This game kinda sucks. I don't think I've ever seen that much yellow paint in a video game, not that the removal of yellow paint would've made those platforming sections anymore interesting. AAA gaming is so TRASH.
>>
>>743300452
It has the appropriate amount of stealth to fit a bond game, what's funny about it is that stealth is flat out not worth doing nine times out of ten with how absurdly strong melee is. You just charge at people, bash their skull into the nearest wall, and then charge at the next dude. Enemies even flat out stop shooting during the grab animations
>>
>>743300452
Why did you even play it in the first place? How embarrassing.
>>
I pirated it and I am actually having fun
The graphics are very impressive and it's probably the best case for a "movie game" I have played yet. It's pretty good in not getting too bogged down in story and keeping you doing something interesting or seeing new areas.
The Q lab is actually pretty full of soul
>>
>007
>stealth game
?
>>
>>743300452
It's hitman-lite with uncharted set pieces
>>
>>743300452
remember when everyone was 'having a blast' for a single day and now it's disappeared back into the abyss like every other modern release?
>>
I would describe it more as “Uncharted with better writing”. The dialogue is (slightly) less cringe, the pacing is so much better, and the story actually makes fucking sense. An MI6 agent massacring a town full of third worlders makes complete sense, why the fuck is a boy scout doing the same? Just clean up the jank a bit and this nu-Bond series is basically a superior Uncharted. Just needs to tone it down with the Halo 2 tier endings, assuming they do actually wanna make a whole saga out of this

>the pacing is so much better
What the fuck are you smoking. The first 3 hours are just an extended tutorial. Even if you rush it it takes about 2 hours before you are out of the tutorials and even get to the first actual mission; clearly designed to get past the refund window by making the player, "Well, maybe it will get good after the tutorial is over," because they had so little confidence in the product. And then once you get in the mission it is so brain dead and linear they mist as well have just made it a linear action game instead of trying to fool the player into thinking it was a stripped down Hitman with actual choice how to approach navigation and getting around guards.
>>

Maybe he thought it would be good, you fucking idiot.
>>
I pissed myself laughing when Bond turned into an Assassin's Creed protag in the first 5 minutes of the game.
>>
>>743300452
I'd barely even call it a game. That webm of the guy holding down one button and clearing an entire section of the game is wild.
>>
>>743300452
But it's a good physics game

Also OP James Bond didn't use stealth that often
>>
>>743303704
It’s a single player action game. You play those once and you’re done. Anyway this game was kino.

This was my first ever movie game I played. I rewatched my favorite Bond movies from each era before I played it so I could come in with a fresh mind on Bond characters and stories to compare this one to.
In the end, I loved it, I was engrossed the entire time and kept playing just to see what would happen next and where the story would go.
But then I finished it, took a look at the challenges for every chapter, and just didn't play again. Without the story and characters to pull me in, I realized the gameplay itself wasn't enough of a draw, if you're movie accurate like I am then shooting is too trivial, and the stealth sections aren't anywhere near open or varied enough to get me the same 500 hours I have in the Hitman WoA trilogy.
I don't regret it at all, I got a fantastic Bond story out of this and I'm very much looking forwards to a sequel, but I can't exactly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have the same Bond interest I do.

I'm playing through this right now and am extremely underwhelmed.

Hitman does the stealth aspects so much better because that's the complete focus. This has to appease normies with budget Uncharted gameplay sections.Neither the shooting or brawling feel very good, though some of the brawling animations can be impressive when the controls work properly.

It's fun to mess around with guards in stealth sometimes. Although one run in the laundry room tacsim mission I literally just walked and jogged around collecting all the notes I needed and none of the guards focused on me long enough to get alerted lmao. Then the alerted soldiers spawn in the exit and all hell broke loose. Rather have this than having to deal with enemies actually having peripheral vision though.
>>
>>743309037
Yeah I enjoyed it because I like Bond and it's mostly well made but Hitman WOA is a better game and overall more enjoyable with more replayability because it's not a movie game. I hope IO don't become this company and understands why Hitman is ultimately the better game
>>
I've been calling it an Uncharted-like
>>
dont disrespect uncharted, 1+2 were god tier visuals and sprawling seamless adventure
007 was trash, low quality trash
>>
>>743300452
Is what shills want you to think. There cinematic action bits are like 10% of the runtime.

>fantastic Bond story
Are the standards for Bond so low that this is considered a FANTASTIC story? The story is kinda retarded if you think about it for more than a second. Apparently the AI was constantly making mistakes, think how many clean ups they would have to do, how the fuck did the SPY AGENCY not catch them in the act when they're just a bunch of IT guys turned amateur assassins
>>
>>743300452
why has this model not been ripped yet?
>>
It should've been a stealth game

I finished it a while ago and the genre felt confused.
I'm literally just a guy with no super powers. No bullet proof armor. No nothing. Then why am I shooting literally 50 guys in an arena?

It begs the question why would you ever do "spy" stuff. Just pull out your gun and kill the whole world, its faster.
>>
>>743313147
Modern devs don’t know anything about stealth.
>>
so it's like a Bond movie you're saying

It felt fresh

Singleplayer level-based action games aren't being made much anymore

Although it has felt a bit short

Last night I Bond burgered your sister
>>
>>743312973
Damien's PMC guys were not amateur by any stretch.
>how did the spy agency not spot them
Because they had Hyperion and could be several steps ahead of MI6 whenever they wanted.

The craziest thing in the story is that Webb somehow invented quantum magic to link the two supercomputers in a way that was undetectable to anyone but him, but that's just Bond villain powers.

i kinda hated how dei it was
like every single character casting choice had to go through an algorithm
