I'm playing this on PC. I mention the platform because reviews of the console version complain of long load times and hanging, and I haven't had that problem on the PC version. I've played up to the point where you confront Nurse Crane and make a Big Plot Decision about what must be done with her (I erased her memory and got a bad outcome). So far the game has held my interest, and I'm curious to see more of what the setting contains. Where I find fault with Vampyr is in the dislocation of its dialogue. Too often a character will reply to something that has not been said, or will demonstrate their knowledge of information that logically should only be known to Dr. Reid and has not yet been shared with them by Dr. Reid. It's very noticeable when this happens, and it breaks immersion for me.

I was dating someone who worked on Bloodlines 2 and jesus christ that game was a mess, I can tell you it was 100% because of retarded management and had basically nothing to do with trannies or woke DEI or anything. The publisher was Paradox and they had zero interest in making a good VTM game or a worthwhile sequel to VtMB, they just wanted to use the known IP as a way to let their company branch off of making autistic Paradox 4x games and enter the RPG market. They had a bunch of oldheads communicating on it and writing for it but anytime they tried to do something interesting some shithead french guy would visit the office and tell them to make it more generic.
