>>743310884The big thing is the pals, you want to focus all your efforts on getting pals to work your base and one you like with cool passives and stuff for your team. Melee combat is meh, especially to start, get a bow or crossbow when you can. Capture 5 of each pal to get big xp bonuses, that will level you and your pals in your party, then that gives you stats, spend those on weight and stamina to start, and just keep ramping from there.Do the mini base quest upgrades to unlock more pal slots for the base.
