The auto-sort was a stupid inclusion. It removes the need to maximize space in your inventory, which was one of the things that made RE4 work so well.>then just don't use it!Humans are designed to take the path of least resistance. It's a game developers job to engage the player in the mechanics, not bypass them. Players will optimize the fun out of a game if given the opportunity to do so.
