I always despised how games like it and Toy Story 2 required an external memory card and didnt save the game on the cartridge like a REAL game, so any time i wanted to play them i had to start from the beginning with nothing unlocked every single time. I certainly took pride on shooting for 1st place first time on every playthrough.
I don't know how kids feel about LEGO these days, but I've always hated how overpriced those plastic bricks are and how every adult just assumes every boy wants them. My mom got me a Star Wars LEGO set when I was a kid even though I didn't care about Star Wars or LEGO. I had to fake playing with it whenever she was around just so I wouldn't make her feel bad. What really pissed me off was finding out how much those sets cost she could've bought me something I actually wanted with that money. I fucking hate LEGO.
