the movie game

Which one is the WORST?
>>
>>743310101
Legend of the Lost spatula is the worst SpongeBob game I've played, like most people out there, I haven't played every SpongeBob game of course.
>>

Picrel even though the faggots at THQ refuse to acknowledge it
Though to be fair a remaster would absolutely ruin everything that made the game challenging so that weenies wouldn't cry about it online

The Kinect game.

Titans of the Tide. I really love that BFBB Rehydrated brought us into a new golden age of SpongeBob vidya since I didn't get most of them growing up
>>
>>743308359
BFBB was objectively the most famous and successful. The movie game was also great, naturally because it was made by the same devs.

>Revenge of the Flying Dutchman
There was a huge issue on a lot of PS2 versions, where the game would freeze at a certain loading screen, making progression impossible.

my condolences

>a new golden age of SpongeBob vidya
You what? Spongebob is on life support at this point. The show should have ended a decade ago, at the latest (Hillenburg initially wanted to end it after the 2004 movie), but Nick was desperate to keep milking its cash cow.

Spongebob is nothing more than Spongeslop at this point.
>>
>>743314901
Fair enough but I literally said "golden age of SpongeBob vidya" (since the OP asked about the games specifically) and the THQ Nordic games have gotten better with each entry thus far
>>
Was Cosmic Shake & Rehydrated shit? They went on game bundle/PS+ services real quick.
>>
>>743318469
I fucking loved the Cosmic Shake, Rehydrated was also good
>>
>>743318469
If BFBB was a love letter to the golden era of the show (and Rehydrated is as well but extended to add memes and such from the movie and ealry/later episodes), Cosmic Shake is a love letter to the entire series, I adore it. Titans of the Tide is just mechanically the best of the three and has the best platforming
>>
>>743308359
the obvious choices are bfbb and movie game but thats a boring answer so i think the altron developed games on the ds and the point n click games on pc are also worth checking out for what theyre worth
>>

>>743320298
Is there any reason to play BfBB over Rehydrated, or is it a solid enough remaster/remake/whatever?
>>
>>743308359
Damn, there's a lot more spongebob games than I thought. I wonder which western cartoon has the most games.
>>
>>743310101
Lights camera pants. just a terribly cheap mini game collection. I didn't even like it as a kid
>>
>>743322228
At the end of the day Rehyrdated is on a new engine so it controls slightly differently. If you're fighting for frames than you're also probably better off emulating the gamecube version
>>
>>743322292
do comic ips count? cause spiderman might beat it
>>
>>743322428
I'm just too used to a lot of remasters being worse either due to technical issues, fucked up physics (hi Crash trilogy), or a visual overhaul that doesn't respect the original's aesthetic (Spyro, Halo).
