the answer to that is a resounding "chu-pa"

>>743311104They're sooo cute
I think the queues in this game are the best they've been. Its a weird thing to get fixated on but I feel like sometimes they are so good they add so much to the track, like the sweepers or backup dancers
Remix 5 Is Ass Easily the worst of all 20
>>743313086Filtered by bots and butterflies
I wonder how development on this one went. There's some signs things were rushed or padded so they could hit the 80 games benchmark. For example, the music that plays in remix 11 is actually a remix of Disc Dog, so why wasn't it used in Disc Dog 2? That would be more in-line with the previous games. Instead Disc Dog 2 uses some relatively basic loops, so my theory is they made the Remix 11 music to be used in Disc Dog 2, but then decided to use it for a remix instead so they could extend the game, and then quickly whipped up a replacement for Disc Dog 2.
Cute lesbians
>>743313013Agreed 100%For me it's the little hums from the woman in the cooking game.
>>743314519That's a good catch, didn't notice.Presentation is definitely the game's weak point, presumably they had a much more ambitious art style in mind for the series' HD debut but then back pedalled before launch. Games like Yum Bot visually stick out like a sore thumb, I imagine that was one of the first games they finished.
>>743314519>For example, the music that plays in remix 11 is actually a remix of Disc Dog, so why wasn't it used in Disc Dog 2I think they had the concept for remix 11 first. I think they decided they wanted every game to have a sequel later on
>>743314519I wish Disc Dog 2 used the Egyptian Aesthetic too
>>743314519I'm sure the decision to have 20 remixes maybe because they had a lot of music left over or some other reason came late into development as a result. That means they needed to make a sequel to every game as opposed to only a select handful and also figure out how they would work into said remixes which probably ended up being more taxing than anticipated
Post 'em
>>743315665I can't accept GBA remix 5 being that low despite the fact the gameplay itself leaves a bit to be desired. The music aesthetic and story it tells through the games is far too based

>>743311104Maybe my unc brain is just starting to slowly die, but I'm not really seeing any new thing in Groove that I think will be the "new face" of the series like the Choir Kids in the DS game or the Wrestler Interview in Fever. I guess whichever one lends itself the best to Youtube videos
Perfected all games today.First time I ever managed to do that in a rhythm heaven game.Last 3 games I was struggling with were hop n slide 2, disc dog 2 and remix 17Not sure if I care enough to do the 3 perfects in a row and night mode
>>743311104I think we have come full circle and the space dancers are the new (old) face
>>743322801>Not sure if I care enough to do the 3 perfects in a row and night modeI dont know why anyone would it doesnt seem fun, just tedious
I really didn't like can do at first but I really came around to it in all aspects. I unironically had a harder time with the red cans than the blue ones

That game really must be shit for them to be the most popular.
I liked the demo. Should I get this or play the other ones first? I've got a softmodded Wii, DSi, and 3DS, so I pretty much have access to any of them.
cute game
>>743327619You can play any of them in any order you want.At best you'll miss a cameo or a reference to an older game.
>>743327535I think she killed herself
>>743311104This one is.
>>743327945Hmm hmm~
>>743327619Any are fine. I think the best starting point and easiest is megamix because you have a bunch of shit from the older games too in order to get a sampler but it also starts slow and has a bad story bogging shit down
>>743313013The cues in this game are amazing and I think one of the things that are better in this game than fever. Alien Alphabet, Space Sentry, High Five Fever Lightning Bolting and Back up dancers are all S tier games and all gave amazing cues, and that is not to diminish how good the cues are in fever either
>>743313086I love the music and theming but why did they make it the fuckin hardest remix in the game
>>743315081This one hurts a bit. Clearly the bottom one fits the overal artstyle better. But there are so many minigames that 'don't fit the style', it sucks they didn't just stick with this one. It looks way more visually interesting
>>743327619If you have the time/patience for it I think it's worth playing them in order. They're not terribly long, even if you go for full perfects. The first one has a translation patch, btw.
I can't be the only one who's way too invested in soccer dreams girl and Hayato.
>>743315081Honestly I don't mind the downgrade since the game has a fuckload of content but I wish we got the best of both worlds
>>743327535Is this real?
I hope we get more games where these stupid characters are put in more stock images with real people. The cameos in a for effort were funny
>>743313013It carries sweep star which would otherwise be kinda mediocre
Stop go n stop kinda sucks and 2 also kinda sucks
>>7433292801 is kinda groovy. 2 doesn't have any redeeming qualities
>>743329280Id say most of the weaker games are the sequels since some were definitely forced. Fruit Flex 2, Stop n go n stop 2, Disc Dog 2 (which was at least in service to kino) syncro wings 2 pop don't drop and yum bot 2 all felt kinda shit
>>743329538Nah Yum Bot 2 is way better than the first.
>>743329538Yum bot 2 is great. I think they should have had it switch spots with syncro wings in when they were introduced

>>743328803I was hoping there'd be a soccer dream 3the yellow ball move is one of the most satisfying in the series to do imothe game is ultimately one of the best in the series to me actually. It's basically a upgraded karate man. It could have used a 3rd game that's at the same bpm as karate man and has more balls.

>>743314519I think what bothers me the most is how most remixes just, don't have a theme anymore. They generally just use the default look of the minigame or their sequel and that's it, and it's a shame because I loved the aesthetic change in the previous games' remixes that made every minigame have cohesion with one another

I have to be very tight with my money right now. How replayable is Rhythm Heaven compared to Warioware? I played the demo and it was great and fun, but I can't see myself replaying it much after perfecting everything, whereas Warioware is near infinitely replayable to keep getting new high scores. By the way I have nothing against Rhythm Heaven at all if it's not replayable, I really enjoyed the demo, it's just that I can't afford right now to buy something I'll only spend like 10 hours on or however long it takes to play through and then perfect everything.
>>743366524It's got the greatest quantity of minigames with multiple levels of perfect, side modes like Beatspell and Drum Lessons, and is only 40 dollars to WarioWare's 50.
>>743366524Comparing WW to RH is an odd one given the completely different design appeals they both have, but if you solely care for full replayability, then getting the rainbow perfects + stars will take a good while in Groove, depending on how naturally you feel the rhythm. As a longtime player of both series, Groove doesn't feel any different from the other RH's to me, it's another good title in a solid series.Rainbow perfects + stars will take you longer to get than trying to 100% complete the other RH games.About replayability, personally, I play RH to perfect everything and finish the side content, then I drop it and play my favorite minigames every now and them. There's not really anything like chasing high score thrills in WW.Since money's tight though, idk why you don't just naturally emulate then buy it if you liked it.Probably not a useful reply to you though, as my appeal for WW is 4 player modes (and coop for GiT), and I don't do high score runs that often.
>>743364807You're probably muscle memorying it at a lower BPM than Remix 15.
>>743362750stay mad tranny
>>743366839>>743367407 Thanks for the replies. I guess I'm comparing it to Warioware because it's the most similar game I've played, and this demo is my only taste of Rhythm Heaven. Whatever rainbow perfects are, it sounds like the kind of information I was hoping to get, just something more difficult to try and attain that the demo doesn't make apparent.
>>743367918>playing RH on an MPC pad>not transsexualism lmao
>>743363773This was a very interesting vid in how it talks about the input timing, thanks for posting anonI made this post a couple threads ago but I thought I was losing my mind with the timing in Groove while going for rainbow perfects + stars as I remember not having any major issues based on input delay when perfecting the other games and I was using pro controller at the time, TV set to Game mode.I also got a ton of those 'ghost' inputs where I hear the success sound even though it failed and couldn't stand that anymore when going for perfects. When switching to handheld mode, it felt like I took off a bunch of weights as the difference was complete night and day and then I got 15 perfects within 2hrs on that day and haven't looked back.I've been doing another run of Groove but this time on emu with my 144hz monitor and the input timing feels very natural there too.I hate dealing with input delay shit, have never had to do this with any other rhythm game I've played on PC but knowing the cause of the input lag is a combination of how shitty HD TVs are and Switch memeware gives some needed clarity and it's nice knowing I'm not alone.Wish the devs better communicated the input timing since they adding in the calibration, like how Megamix had the stars vfx on the bottom screen, even just an ms timing in the calibration screen would be good. They added that for the cake stealing minigame kek
>>743368285>I hear the success soundwhat success sound
>>743367975There is beatspell which could have been a game in of itself.
did that ugly little cunt from megamix get a single reference in this game
>>743367975Ah okay, then in that case yeah Groove has a good amount of difficult content to go through. The only other RH game that has good difficult content is Megamix in the Challenge Land, all the other RH games it's just getting normal perfects but that would be hardest in Tengoku with how strict the timings are in that one.Groove's the hardest overall since rainbow perfects are getting 3 perfects in a row, which can only be done after you've successfully gotten a normal perfect in a game. Also keep in mind in RH, you can only go for a normal perfect when the game gives you a challenge popup, and to get that you need to get a medal for a game which's just beating the game on the best rating (amazing/superb)
>>743311104If they're so great, then why isn't there a Brolly Good Show 3? Checkmate frogs.
>>743368343The audio cues the player character makes when the input is done correctly like the cho pa in brollyBy ghost inputs I mean it's possible for me to hear the player character cho sfx while at the same time hear the throat clearing sfx showing a missOr any minigame that has a success sfx but then plays that spring sfx for missed/late inputs

>>743313013Unlike previous games, this one has clearly been designed from the ground up to be playable by blind people, so that’s probably why the cues are better than before.

>>743390952She has a crush on him, she would want him to peep
>>743391041So your claim now is all her songs did exactly like that on both nico nico and Youtube, oh election tourist, show me the evidence of this.
>>743389439yeah cause the backstories tell you at like chapter 4
>>743378319why does the guy from quiz show look like a character from maniac mansion?
>>743390089cha cha cha
>>743391449OH OH
>>743391217>just list ALL her cover songs even though most aren't archived pre industry plant boost so I can seethe for another 100 posts and shift the goalposts again

>>743354229Marshal is also in the munchy monk game
The new Karate Joe art is so fucking ugly wtf?
>>743390089Uo-Cha-Cha-Cha
>>743392192BOO-BOO-BOOMAY-YAH
>>743391942>Make a claim>Now backpeddling when the claim can't be substantiatedThe classic election tourist move
>This thread is only being kept alive by two guys arguing with each other
AHHHHHHH I'VE FAILED REMIX 9'S ENDING IN NIGHT MODE FOR FOUR TIMES IN A ROW
>>743392410Claim was substantiated You cried over it
>>743391041>clearly not natural growthAnother meaningless term in modern society with social media virality. Was the raccoon girl figure skater also an industry plant because she received an outsized amount of support and training and promotion to the front of the US figure skating team only to go from literal who to worldwide darling in the span of hours?
>>743380852Godspeed anon, I'm on the remix 15 row right now and I'm so close to the end. Been getting superbs/amazings and perfects whenever they pop up (unless I screw it up). My flow is 130 rn and I'm quite happy with myself and I'm excited to go after all the rainbow star perfects myself, I only have one rainbow star at the moment and it's on hoop trundling 1 :)
>>743392680>Prove her firs video wasn't an instant hit>That means she's a plant>When your entire argument before was she was a plant from the start You did a great job of debunking yourself oh election tourist.
>>743392721>social media virality. She was on social media as a nobody until she got picked up by the industry no social media virality without industry promotion Industry plant
>>743340789>>743343415>>743343747>>743354683>>743391137Sora is so cute
Ado has the talent and was lucky, that's why she made it big.
>>743392837She was a plant from her debut song uruseiwa, not hard to understand little retard
>>743392436>6 hours of discourse over some singerI fucking love rhythm heaven
>>743392889>without industry promotionAaand we're back to your definition of industry plant being applicable to just about every artist in history.
>>743392947>Election tourist now moving the goalpost to "She got signed to a label 4 years after starting her career, so she's a plant"
>>743393089Nope. Only for artists who go from being nobody to no.1 as soon as they get a label. Doesn't apply to most artists in history.Keep up
>>743393175She didn't have a career before being signed, she was a random in her room singing cover songs on niconico until she got picked up by the industry and became the most popular singer after one song
Anon seething about Ado is 100% a woman/troon.
>>743393286>Singing isn't a career>Releasing songs doesn't count>Working with other singers doesn't count>Taking part in digital singles doesn't count>Being featured in albums doesn't count>Working with vocaloid producers doesn't countThe election tourist is on the ropes.
>Listening to Beatspell's music>Reminded Miitopia's music team came from Rhythm Heaven>Now I want another MiitopiaMan
>>743393518>all that work>got her nowhere >gets a label >suddenly known by everyone Dictionary definition of Industry plant
>>743393203So if you're too lucky and talented you're an industry plant, alright.
>>743393618>Got her nowhereProof oh election tourist? She was climbing up the ladder like you claimed people are supposed to. >>743377749
>>743393681Ado is so lucky and talented she didn't become number 1 on her own merits in the age of social media and indy artists, only happened when some homosexual in virgin records decided to AstroTurf her
>>743342605Glad you're having fun anonThere is a lot more fun to be had.Even the weakest entey megamix on tge 3ds is still solid in my opinion.
>>743393754Going from a nobody on niconico to the number 1 overnight isn't working up the ladder. That's not how meritocracy works, I'm sorry you've been sold an emotional dream of becoming big by a fraud
>>743373842>Devs put in an Easter egg like that and didn't tell anyoneTheydid tell you in ine of the rhythm references.Though you have to go out of your way to read them
>>743392894true daughter goals. I wish I could give her hugs, headpats, soccer lessons, and advice on how to win over Hayato
>>743393808>when some homosexual in virgin records decided to AstroTurf herWe've already established no one really gets popular and stays there without industry support, so then the difference between plant or not would have to be if the stars align for a number 1 hit on your first, fifth, or tenth single.
I don't know if I'd call her a plant but it is kinda weird she's even a producer of an idol group for some reason
>>743393937>OvernightNow you're just repeating your debunked lies Oh Election tourist. She was clearly building up a career and you failed to disprove that.
>>743394249She started singing when she was 14, girl has ambition.
>>743394191>the stars alignOnce again no, most of the time you get picked up by a label, they put a small amount of backing into your brand and then proceed based on initial support planthood is when they go full in immediately, they really want you to be big for some reason that's often beyond your own knowledge
>being literally everywhere, games, novels, drama, movies, anime, dub isn't weirdShe isn't a plant but pretty much they picked her up to represent Japan in the music scenario, also because she is young too. She is perfect to make japanese music popular for foreigners.
>>743394249>debunked liesYou have debunked jack shit, you've been seething for 6 hours because your favourite artist was called what she is. Going from 10s of thousands to millions household name overnight isn't regular growth
>>743394232>>743394364it's weird as shit but if you bring it up you get damage control from guys that act like cool japan is still paying them
>>743376282Was the third one for me.Tried it out first with trundling 1 and then I did can crush 2.Don't think I'm gonna do all of them, but it gives me a nice enough excuse to go back to my favorite tracks.
>>743394413Except your original lie was she was instantly a plant when she started. Now you move the goalposts and can't even substantiate it What is it about Ado that makes you seethe this much to lie about her success oh election tourist?
>>743394929The original claim is she was planted by Uruseiwa
Ado got much better at singing now and sounds pretty good today, but if you hear her hit song that released years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp3b-RXtz4w you see that is overated as fuck and don't anything special lol
>>743395267doesn't have*
>>743395084You started by saying she was a 'soulless industry plant' without context and that you hated her.>>743372909>>743348519How did she personally wrong you oh election tourist?
>>743395393The bottom post isn't me, I just thought you were a tremendous faggot for screeching election tourist in a completely unrelated to politics discussion about an astroturfed singer and wanted to know if there was some political drama with her.But ofc it was just a deranged schizo screeching 'bout someone insulting his 3DPD waifu
>>743395551>Election tourist seething that he was correctly called out.>And is only attacking Ado out of spite.Didn't expect you to just openly admit it all so candidly.
>>743395267she's SHIT in everything that isn't groove and i'm tired of pretending otherwise. hopefully つんく can continue writing songs for her

>>743390565Ok? And why do I need to know that?
>>743396267Interesting you deny that when you're been pushing the lie that Ado is a plant for hours now.The absolute state of election tourists.

The Ado stream is good edging material.
>>743397005I love her more than her songs desu
>>743397005the salome one where she was doing sex moans to remix 2 legitimately is
>>743396964You're the only one doing here, weird how you're so obsessed with tearing down others, but it comes with what you are, election tourist.Bet you don't even own a physical copy of the game either

>he can't post his physical copy
>>743398014If clearly taken from a switch 2 and I doubt anon has a hacked switch 2 that lets him play fake carts just to btfo you lmao
>>743396782just w8 until adofags actually kitte'd the game. they haven't yet cause she just shilled it today
>>743398180Flashcarts can work on the Switch 2, but it instantly gets your switch 2 banned, but not bricked unfortunately. Given you've been raging about Ado for 5 hours, I would not put it past you to steal Switch 2 either.
>>743398435>instantly gets your switch 2 banned>1NDUSTRYPLANT from the Eshop redeem pageNice try but you still haven't posted your copy yet
>>743397898God bless the bubble popping game. Even Korone made it sound vaguely sexual.
>>743398435pretty funny you're ESLing here too when the guy you accused of being ESL has a paradise cart
>>743398530So now you're getting around it somehow with your pirating ways.Time to alert Nintendo
how do i not kill myself while going for triple perfects?i keep stressing myself out on #3 and failing
>>743398619Congrats, you passed the 'not a bot' test. Unfortunately, it means you're a human doing it for free.
>>743398629It's trveI pirated the switch 2 to directly rip Ado's song from the groove OST and upload it to RUTRACKER so she doesn't earn money off of this
>>743398779Truly a villain
i dont think this topic matters at allneither of you are achieving anything from thispu-pu-pu punch!
>>743398651I just do the ones that I think are fun.I don't think the perfect streak is worth it.I can't imagine doing it for yumbot 2, hop n slide 2 and both sneezy moons among others

>>743398952yumbot 2 isnt that hardi think synchro wings 2 is going to take me actual weeks if i do try to 100% the game
Was gonna finish the Space Dancers/Backup Spotlight drawing but I got lazy. Plus I don’t know any good Procreate brushes
>>743394308>they go full in immediatelySo show us the proofs of how much money they spent promoting Ado, compared to how much they usually spend on a fresh talent with big potential. You have those numbers right? You wouldn't be talking out of your ass right?
>>743399205procreate sucks, get clipstudio
>>743399305Post your copy of Rhythm Tengoku Mirakuru sutasu
