Are we gonna see JP devs relocate to the USA? What the point if nintendo knocking it out of the park when the Yen crashing fucks up their market cap and efforts?
>>
>>743314383
Best outcome would be china funding them while in japan
>>
nintendo would have to be six shades of retarded to move HQ
>>
>>743314383
No
Nintendo, despite their western popularity, is surprisingly nationalistic and always puts their JP audience first despite being a much smaller consumerbase. Nothing wrong with this, they have tremendous consumer loyalty there and huge cultural control there, but it means they're never leaving the country HQ-wise.

Are you retarded? Any business owner would do the opposite because paying your workers less in basically a religion in current year.

>jap GDP per capita was on par with the US in 2010
How the mighty have fallen...
>>
No? Every is exponentially more expensive in the US to offset any salary gains.

the japanese one is still far higher once you remove from the list the same 3 AI companies moving money in a literal circle and pretending it's growth

The yen is kept weak to make exports more competitive in global markets, and translates to higher corporate profits based on the conversion ratio. This is a scheme the Bank of Japan along with their corporate titans Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Sony, etc. hatched decades ago to benefit them. Things are starting to unwind in global financial markets though so we'll see how things shake out.
>>
>i-it's the yen's fault Nintendo's value is in the gutter
The Switch 2 is failing, nothing outside of Pokemon is selling outside of Japland. It really is that simple.

Now explain all the other countries
>>
I like being able to import stuff to Europe extremely cheap so keep the yen in the shitter I say.
>>
>>743314383
Nope. More foreign investors to invest in global elite world class Japanese talents. Now more affordable. Their material & manufacturing might suffer from setbacks, but service wise, lots of opportunities. They just need to fix their management side.

Met some Japanese uni students here in Europe, as regular degree seeking students! (Not exchange students) With intention to work in western Europe for Euros. They get a taste of what chinks and gooks gets as international students
Yen is so weak to the point emigrating abroad becomes a consideration for more japs. They could do it easily thanks to their strong passport. Unlike what chinks get with visa hurdles.
>visa-free travel to western world
>working holiday; a visa scheme than seanigs & brown desis are envious for
I say more japs are eager to emigrate abroad for fortune, but unlike desperate third worlders, japanese are far easier to get their employment visas or even permanent residency abroad. At best their idea is to stay working in Japan for years before get transferred to international branches abroad, including gaming & arts.

It’s comedic. 1 euro was around 90 yen back in 2010. Now, it’s almost 170.

I actually curious if yen become so weak to the point their labor cost to quality could match vietnam parity. That will cause manufacturing boom back to Japan. What Japs need to do is to keep the CoL as low as possible
