>"we do sometimes receive promotional support or have coverage expenses covered by publishers"- Weekly Famitsu Editor-in-chief, Hiroko Saga

Famitsu is paid off by certain publishers! Wow! Can we trust anything that they say after this admission
>>

So is IGN
>>
who else is going to pay them? anonymous people posting on /v/?
>>
I certainly don't pay famitsu. I live in the USA I tried getting a subscription. they're just like everyone else, but I tend to trust famitsu more than gay American fake game sites

WOAH! NO WAY!
>>
What kind of newfag doesn't know Famitsu reviews are basically based on how much they got paid? It's like the most common knowledge of how irrelevant their reviews are for the last twenty years.
Anyway basic retail tracking is easy to corroborate since multiple agencies do that on top of publisher reporting, so their sales tracking isn't in question.
