Any opinions on this game? It looks dead. The lead developer doesn't even play the game and constantly gets into fights with people who criticize anything about it.

All time peak of 14K players for a 12 year old live service game would make me want to jump off a bridge. Cringe story writing, tumblr noses and horrible character animations that had me falling out of my chair in laughter.

Some notes I took:

>You can walk up slopes of ice
>You have quality on everything like matches that just clogs your inventory UI for no reason
>Anything electric malfunctions and explodes in lore but any battery powered item the game gives you works fine.
>You use your hands to uncover buried bunkers but you are unable to remove snow in front of doors to open them.
>Everything degrades extremely quickly in containers the moment you pick it up.
>Wolves are supercharged by an aurora but then are also scared of lights?
>The game has one main train track line with multiple trains derailed on this track.
>The developers have placed buildings like loggers huts in canyons devoid of any trees. >Many cars just coincidentally happen to be magically crushed by giant boulders
>The only renewable source of potatoes etc is a guy on a boat who supposedly scavenges them in a non-ruined state at sea where they are exposed to the elements
>This same guy also wants 20 cedar wood for a box of cereal, which is 700 calories, and takes far more calories to harvest, haul, use tool condition, etc.
>According to the developers it it unrealistic to be able to place ice fishing holes anywhere, but not to start fires on ice
>Almost no shortcut mechanics, e.g. cutting down a tree on the other side of a canyon to create a bridge
>You can move planks around indoors but in places outdoors you cannot so you need to complete an obstacle course every time you want to use the ammunition forge
>Whetstones are everywhere in this world and break after 25 uses

Live service?
I remember hosting a modified co-op lobby for me and my buddy. It was alright, but we didn't really play it that long. I didn't really read anything after you said "live service" though, so I hope you find what your looking for, or forget how you've been hurt, or whatever.

I remember watching playthroughs and it was comfy as h4ck back in the day... never played it doe

Mods make this game, but they keep breaking because the dev is a canadian faggot.

It was an okay survivan game eons ago. I'm not even sure if the story mode "finished", and I don't care to go back and play any final chapter after the feud with the bear
Threads were always fun since it was only a matter of time until new anons got WOLFED for the first time

If you want even more survival autism with a better story mode, just check out Green Hell.
Try not to spoil yourself on the kino ending requirements

I don't remember much about this game, other than that it gets completely mogged by The Forest.
