games don't need to look better than ps2 era, they tried to turn it into a movie industry but turns out cooking games for 6+ years is a gamble with really bad odds

I miss AA vidya in general. There should always be some middle ground between indie studios and AAA studios. The massive waves of buyouts in the 2010s completely obliterated AA game development in general.
