Yea I hate my grandma she was a total cuntbag and lied/manipualted me as a kid, used me and my sister for money then threw us out at 18, but she made really good Crab soup, Broccoli and cheese soup, and beef stew with butter bread on the side.

It was one of those family recipes that she ended up giving to my mom, who never got it right because she always rushed it and used shitty substandard ingredients - still tasty, but a pale imitation of the real thing. I have the recipe now, but the tweaks my great aunt made to the recipe are not written down anywhere so even though I can make a killer Sunday gravy now, it still pales in comparison to hers.
