Roottreebros, we are so fucking BACK
cute
Isn't this just a remake of a free itch.io game.
>>743333361Yes, and so was the Roottrees are Dead
>>743331598Roottree was fun until the ending was some literal fag acceptance shit
>>743333826Well I haven't gotten far in Galley House but so far it doesn't seem like there's going to be any gay shit.
The original being text only was a pretty big deal. Is the game itself any different besides that?
>>743336984I haven't played the original but in this game you hear audio recordings of each scene along with the text, and you're expected to assign pictures to each character.
I'm a huge fan of deductive games like Obra Dinnn and Golden Idol, how is this?
Type Help is already perfect. It’s impossible to remake it into a better game
>>743339189I love those games and so far I'm really enjoying this one. The premise is that you're investigating some mysterious deaths in an old mansion, and you use a device to listen in on the conversations of the deceased, provided that you can deduce who was in the room at each point in time. You should check out the Roottrees are Dead as well. In that game your job is to research a family tree and it was extremely satisfying. Both of these games are remakes of itch.io games so you can play them for free if you like.
Man, I really wish I could keep playing but it's already 2:30 in the morningJust figured out all the initial 11 characters relationships at least that they appear to haveI can only assume that Oswald is Rupert's (?) brother though and I'm struggling to decide which portrait belongs to Helen vs Martha, I've plumbed for hair bun as Martha and old bag for Helen, that's assuming that Eve is her only daughter, but I'm not sure just yetOooooo, it's been a while since I got to sink my teeth into a good brain teaserIncidentally: >>743339229I played the homage game for Type Help before this "What happened to the crew?", knowing that this one was getting a remake, and I have to say that using the machine interface rather than having to use command line, is measurably more pleasant
>>743341013>old bag for Helen, that's assuming that Eve is her only daughter, but I'm not sure just yetThat's what I thought at first but it says her only child was a daughter, not that she only had one daughter. Unless Tony is Eve's step-sibling or half-sibling I think Martha had multiple children.
If you want to play Red Pearls of Borneo or TR-49 make sure you play them first, because Type Help is way better than both and they'll be disappointing if you reverse the order.
>>743341453Fuuuuuu, I completely blanked on Tone. Good catchNext sesh can't come soon enough
they added a nigger...
>>743339523thanks anon will play this
>>743339189Play the original, Type Help. Infinitely more unique and interesting experience than this. Paradoxically, it loses so much by adding visuals and voices. That would be the case even if they weren't generic and amateurish.
