Why didn't they fix the shitty pathfinding and enemy ai? My party member get stuck on each other constantly, trying to move past each other. Enemy melee units are easily kited around and enemy spellcasters can be baited to waste their spells on a single party member, wait out the duration, retreat to heal and repeat until they have no spells left. Hardly tactical gameplay, more like a chore.

Because beamdog sucks.

Yes the game can be cheesed in many ways. Install SCS if you want better enemy AI. Or go play whatever slop you prefer, I don't care.

of course it's a chore if you wait out enemy spells
many game can be cheesed by waiting or degenerate grinding..
but bg is an ez game, you should buff your guys and fight directly, it's fun
