Goddamn is this a fucking masterpiece, they don't make bangers like this anymore. Also this is the best version, best lighting and atmosphere, no bugs from the PC version, and all songs and DLC included on the disc.
Yep, even PS3 version of GTAV is best as wellhttps://youtu.be/K9RLOWztOO8https://youtu.be/Hvh5z02d5BMLater ports fucked up the lighting, vehicle damage, handling, and a bunch of other shitGTAIV, RDR1, and GTAV were peak R* before they went downhill and become money hungry
>>743340312The base game is a masterpiece TLaD is mostly pretty good Gay Tony is kind of meh
>>743343054This but swap the two DLCs.
>>743343054Gay Tony is better than the base game. TLAD sucks ass
>>743343054Gay Tony has explosive ammo and more cars so you're gay.
>>743340312Fuck no, ps3 version run way worst than 360 and worst graphics.Sony propaganda really is something
>>743343449PS3 version was buggy at launch, but after patches it runs better and has better lighting. Also Idk if 360 version has the removed songs, but I know PS3 has all songs even on the latest version
>>743343515Lol no.
>>743340312>Also this is the best version, best lighting and atmosphere, no bugs from the PC version, and all songs and DLC included on the disc.pc with fusion fix mod fixes basically everything so its more akin to the console releases while keeping the high framerate/resolution. >console gamma>console reflections (some objects just didn't reflect on the pc version)>not broken depth of field / definitionit fixes a gazillion things but these were the highlights for me.
>>743343560I'm playing it right now. The framerate can be a bit choppy, but you adjust quickly and the game still looks fantastic, especially in terms of artstyle and atmosphere. People say the PS2 versions of GTA games are best but act like GTA IV PS3 is unplayable; GTA IV on PS3 plays miles better than the PS2 GTAs
Wait, is there a video to compare the vanilla PC lighting to PS3?
>>743343785Gamepad aiming is also absolutely fucked on PC
>>743344081Uhhh no it ain't? (How is it fucked? I was just playing it on Steam Deck the other day)
>>743340312>>743340446buy an ad
>>743340446wow I forgot about the vehicle damage
>>743344173With controller, cursor moves very fast vertically/horizontally, but at any angle at all it moves very slow, which leads to very janky aiming. There is a regular zoom-in when free aiming, but lock-on inexplicably zooms the camera in way more, but yet is completely worthless since enemies just stay behind cover. Even when an enemy is right on top of you, half the time, the lock-on will twist you to an enemy fifty feet away instead of the enemy right on top of you. Free aiming and just popping headshots completely trivializes the combatAlso pretty sure the game doesn't recognize analog inputs when driving
just finished the story again 2 weeks ago and it's as bland and boring as i can remember. i seriously do not understand how people continue to defend it year after year. bad enough a large part of the map is just utterly unremarkable (though that's NYC for you i guess), every mission save for a couple are just not exciting.>drive>tail someone in a scripted car chase>or go to a spot on the map and shoot people>over>rinse repeatsometimes GTA:SA went overboard on being wacky a bit, but there's just so many great varied styled of missions there that makes replaying it super enjoyable.
Why are cockstar such retarded hacks?
>>743344551The missions are repetitive in structure, but just about every other thing is better in GTA IV from the PS2 trilogy. Story, writing, characters, graphics, animations, car handling, car variety, clothing variety, map, attention to detail, physics, gunplay, controls, performance/res, draw distance, police AI, unique dialogues for failing missions, etc.
