To me it was a big surprise how much I enjoyed Hypnospace OutlawI thought this would be some pretentious and "artistic" turd for twitter fags, instead I got an actually really high effort and soulful experience that genuinely felt like browsing internet from an alternate version of earthIt genuinely felt like the creators actually were familiar with old-school internet and actually captured the wild-west feeling and innocence 90's/2000's internet feltThe level of effort the devs put into creating this "virtual internet" with its own subcultures, memes, dramas and often personal shit alongside with custom-made music really is wild and for me Hyperspace Outlaw was pretty specialToo bad that the sequel failed but I at least enjoy that Zane's story continued with his game
