if you're not springing for a ps5 pro, and you're doing multiplat / f2p stuff, the xbox series x is a little stronger, and if you're not afraid of subscriptions, game pass is just straight up the better deal over playstation plus overall, even if they're winding back the "day one on game pass" stuff for newer releases. if first-party shit is your priority, however, it's pretty dire on both fronts and entirely depends on what you're looking at ahead of time.
